The cabin was very cozy, and relaxing. A beautiful spacious home. The windows overlooking the lake were quite dirty, we found it would have been more enjoyable if the windows would have been cleaned. The lake view was pretty but to get to the water was A LOT of steps. Loved the fire pit area, the lakeside decks, the quiet neighborhood, the relaxing peaceful stay.

The location and views were wonderful! Good communication and easy access. There is no railing on staircase going downstairs so difficult for couple of the older ladies. Water quality was bad, thanks goodness we had brought some paper plates so we did not need to sanitize dishes as instructed. Master suite was great but unable to get gas fireplace going.

The cabin was very nice for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was great. View was lovely. Owner was a great communicator. Two things that could be improved: the beds were not very comfortable, and the water is full of iron. A filtration system is an absolute necessity. Unfortunately, the smell was so strong, it would prevent us from staying here again.

Three beds,three baths makes a great stay for three couples or three friends. Lovely deck overlooking the lake is wonderful. Several nice golf courses in the area.

Very well-appointed and well-stocked home. Comfortable beds and furniture. Beautiful views of the lake. We sat around the fire pit, enjoying the view and cocktails. We watched bald eagles and ospreys flying about. It was a quiet, relaxing get-away.

We had a wonderful time, the house was lovely, the location was peaceful and quiet. We apologize for any small toys you may find in random drawers. We have twin toddlers and they had a blast hiding their toys. The dock was great and our boating time was super fun!

We stayed at this property for a summer trip and while the setting had potential, there were several issues that made the experience frustrating.One major concern: the listing shows an elevator down to the dock, but it does not say that it’s out of service. If you're expecting to use it for easier lake access—especially for older guests or those with mobility issues—be aware that it does not work. This resulted in a lot of sore knees for the older folks in our group who had to manage the stairs multiple times a day.The deck also poses a safety risk. It’s not up to code—there are large gaps that small children could easily slip through. If you’re traveling with kids, you’ll need to keep a very close eye on them at all times outside.Another issue is the outdoor lighting. There’s a very bright streetlight or yard light that shines directly into the firepit area, making it nearly impossible to enjoy an evening fire or stargazing. It really takes away from the outdoor ambiance.Communication with the host was not great either. We had several questions before and during our stay, and the responses were delayed or unhelpful, which made planning and problem-solving more difficult than necessary.Finally, the downstairs area is missing blinds on the windows, which made that part of the house feel exposed and lacking privacy.With better maintenance and clearer communication, this place could be great—but as it stands, we wouldn't recommend it for families with young kids or a

Beautiful Home with Nature All Around

We had a wonderful time at this property. The big windows and the large deck made for a relaxing view of the lake and nature. We saw deer every day, including a mama and her two fawns. Busy otters in the water made for a fun exhibition down by the dock. We saw two eagles fly by. The upstairs bedroom is lovely and the bed is very comfortable. The master bathroom is updated and had a nice big shower with good water pressure. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Gorgeous spacious home right on the lake. The great room gives incredible view of the lake. We had a blast using the giant lily pad off the dock (our kids are 11 and 10).

The house was quite beautiful with clean linens and included toiletries. The requirements were to run the dishwasher but didn't provide dishwasher soap. Granted we went out when we hadn't planned to go to store and bought our own. Who travels with dish washer soap?Not enough trash bags were available to us as we cooked all our meals at the house.That grill was pitiful. The grill flavor bars in grill are shot and the grill brush to clean it was bare of bristles.We would have loved to turn one of three fireplaces on but either none worked or we weren't using correct remote.We love fishing in Wisconsin and this house provided us with that memorable experience.

May getaway to birchwood

The vacation home was spacious and had great views of the lake. We had fun playing ping pong and foosball along with other games. We got to see a bear and her cubs in the field down the road, and we also met the neighbors who were very friendly. A few things to note were the evidence of pest control and some evidence of the pests in the lower wet bar area. The soap for the dishwasher was gone so we had to pick some up ourselves. Some missing drapes in the lower level were noted to the host, but we’re never addressed. The listing photos show a whirlpool tub in the bathroom, but it has been replaced by a spacious shower. Overall we really like the area and enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing with a View!

We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing 3 day weekend. We were able to watch the lake open up and the abundance of wild life! We had wood ducks land in the trees right out the big windows, we had a large flock of swans hang around all weekend and even to our surprise a big flock of pelicans hung around for the weekend! The kitchen had everything needed to make meals and plenty of dishes and silverware! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Weekend getaway

Beautiful view. A few things didn’t work or needed attention. Of the three fireplaces, one of the gas fireplaces didn’t work. We got 5” of snow while there, and the driveway didn’t get plowed. Had to shovel sidewalk on arrival. Other minor things. Overall, very nice setting and comfortable.

Warm & wonderful winter retreat

Cabin was very warm, comfortable and relaxing with two gas fireplaces and One log fireplace, Despite -9° temperature outside. We were happy to have garage access from the inside of the house so we could pull our car in and stay warmer. The upstairs king bed was very comfortable, with a gas log fireplace at our feet. Newly remodeled bathroom is very fresh and up-to-date With a walk-in shower and Double marble sinks. Kitchen had all the latest appliances And plenty of cookware. There were two large screen, TVs with plenty of network access. Through the big picture window we enjoyed seeing the white swans, geese, and ducks flying over the frozen lake. The property manager, Ivory, was very accommodating and helpful. Only caution is that the roads can be icy in the winter since The area is wooded and roads are shaded.

Fabulous Fall Getaway

We had an amazing time at this home. The home was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage when it was a little rainy outside. We had a lovely fire one evening in the beautiful fire pit over looking the lake. We also brought our own boat. The public landing wasn’t far from this location and it was easy to tie up at the dock. We enjoyed cruising around the lake and fishing. We enjoyed making some fun memories here! Thank you!
