This home is so beautiful and homey! Very accurate to the photos, if not better in person. Spent the weekend away from the city to recharge and this was the perfect home to do so. Highly recommend!

Nice cabin vibe getaway. Close to nature and amazing view of the lake. Beds are squeaky and makes noise with every turn. Location is hard to find at night but it add to our adventure.

Tranquil getaway

Wonderful host

Our experience in Athens was wonderful. The host was extremely helpful whenever we needed her. The location was perfect. The views from her home are just gorgeous! Sit and watch the sunset over the lake...who could ask for more. Our dog loved swimming at the dog beach! We visited Olana, ate in fabulous restaurants (which the host recommended), hiked, toured the Hudson on boat, and even went to Woodstock! This was a very welcomed vacation! Thank you, Donna!

We spent the week after Christmas here with our dog. Great location on the lake and close to Athens and Catskills. Owner was responsive and helpful. Lakeside neighborhood is good for walking. The property is comfortable and as pictured.

Very cozy and comfortable for a pet-friendly stay.

Nice cozy, small cabin for a getaway with beautiful views on the lake. The place had a really nice vibe and it was so nice to have our 2 4-legged kiddos with us. The neighborhood was not so much our cup of tea but would probably be fine with most. There was just alot of development and places were closer together than preferred. The owner was very flexible and responsive.

From being a fairly well kept secret, Sleepy Hollow Lake has experienced an influx of buying and building from the beginning of the pandemic. Since these are second homes for many who come and go, there is still much privacy and a country feel throughout the community. While nearby towns offer interesting shops and restaurants, hiking and ski slopes are half hour away. Thanks, Kim, for the firewood. Perfect size for my fp. Hope your dogs got to enjoy the freedom of the dog park.

Lovely get away

Enjoyed my stay. House was perfect for one person and easy to get to. Very comfortable and a great view of the lake but no lake access from the house. But easy access at several points just down the street. Very laid back. I love the area - Catskills, Athens, Hudson. Lots to do and see.

Cozy Stay with a Beautiful View

We had a lovely time relaxing in this cozy "treehouse" which had a gorgeous sunset view of the lake. The house is in a private lakeside community. We enjoyed our nighttime walks around the community with our dogs to the dog beach. Host was helpful and accessible.

We loved the view of the lake, waking up to a gorgeous view from the bedroom. Fireplace opens into both the living room and bedroom. Very cozy cabin - beautiful wood floors. Donna was very responsive and helpful.

This cozy cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. The pictures are correct including the stunning view from the deck. We went for leaf peeping and location of cabin was perfect. I would recommend to any couple looking for a romantic getaway.

Great getaway

Perfect spot on the lake for a long weekend getaway. The home is really quaint. And you can’t beat the location. We visited the nearby towns and sites, and the Kaaterskill falls, which were all charming. Donna was a great communicator.

Wonderful stay in lovely lakehouse

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy lakehouse. Great views, easy access to hikes, towns, farms and farm stands. The owner was so helpful and easy to reach.
