Saltwater Cottage is located right in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Perfectly centered to enjoy all benefits of Northern OBX, Southern OBX and everything in between. With just steps to the beach access, and convenient to shops and dining, you will have the best vacation ever. This is where you'll make lasting memories.

Featuring a brand new backyard oasis installed for 2024, including a new saltwater heated (additional fee) pool, hot tub, cabana with outdoor tv, activity turf and expansive deck.

There are 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and an enclosed outside shower. The Recreation room has a pull out sofa, and a wet bar with mini fridge. The well stocked kitchen has everything you need for vacation meal planning. And for anyone needing to do some homework or teleworking there is a sit-to-stand desk, perfect to quickly get that work done so you can have some beach fun!

A beautiful week in Kill Devil Hills

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our first family vacation in OBX. We were generally pleased with the house but there somethings that need to be noted that lessened our rating:- first day there was sand in the pool along the edges the first day but was otherwise clean.- didn’t like the note that the AC shouldn’t be placed below 71- the master bedroom door in need of attention, it makes a horrible sound when closing and hard to shut, disturbing anyone asleep when entering room As well as the Masterbath door, drags and hard latch-the walls in the 2 corners of living room where the chairs are need some type of protection from chairs, impossible to prevent rubbing the walls. - with a house that sleeps so many should consider another couch or seating in the LR- thankfully a thumbtack of some sort was found under the cabana and no one stepped on before being found- the crows nest off the 3rd floor needs some attention, first time someone walked out onto the deck a board broke, so for the rest of the stay we stayed off off for safety. The Maintenence worker responded quickly and had board fixed as soon as our schedule allowed (babies napping) That one broken board could have very easily hurt my daughter and could not be enjoyed during our stay- No information was given in reference to the key location for access to the outside storage building for the pool amenities nor the combo to deck box- Those items may be enough to look elsewhere next year, unlikely to refer a friend to this location due to those items as wellThe artificial turf in the pool was a fantastic addition and Gbababies loved the play areaCarolina Shores Reality was great helping me through the first time process of renting a house, very polite when picking up out check-in packet and responded very quickly to the deck issues 5⭐️ for them-Respectfully ,The B’s

Nice house

Great location. Close to everything. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and living room were smaller than the pictures made it seem. Pool was great but slippery going in! Hopefully they put a rail in the shallow end. Kitchen was well stocked.
