Great family week in beautiful, private and top notch accommodations

Loved the palm trees surrounding us, the gentle sound of the surf nearby, and the family gathering to cook on an outside hearth.

Great place to stay!

This is an amazing property with AC, pool and right on the beach. Angie, Steve and Connor were great with any issues we had and recommendations for tours. I would definitely recommend staying here for a lovely beach vacation and hope to be back soon.

Beautiful property

Loved this place, beautiful views, great place to relax and the owners were lovely. Property manager couldn’t have been nicer. Wish we could have stayed all month.

Phenomenal Experience

What a place! From the property itself to the hospitality we received, it was the most awesome experience! Angie, Steve and Connor made sure we had everything we needed and more. My only regret was that we did not have a longer stay. We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I traveled with my brother and his wife and this was the perfect setup. Two separate accommodations to give us privacy yet all together. The pool is wonderful and a great bonus! Angie and her team were such wonderful people to talk with. I can't say enough about this place and I highly recommend it to anyone!

Amazing Place! Absolutely incredible location and home!

We had the pleasure of staying for 6 days and it was such a great experience. The location is perfect, just close enough to town, but extremely quiet and safe. The home is even better in person than in the pictures. Communication was awesome and we do recommend the boat captions - he was just a pleasure and well priced. We're already planning our return for next June. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Perfect Vacation

The property itself is flawless with every detail thought about. Each member of their wonderful family has been so polite and welcoming. We took a boat tour with their son, Wes, and he didn't disappoint. I would highly recommending staying at their property and taking a day boat trip with Wes for the perfect vacation. -Chelsea

A Private Boat tour with Wes is a one of a kind experience! He knows the waters like the back of his hand and will take you to see some of the most exquisite places: Exotic reefs to snorkel, hidden beaches, the Zapitalla National Park, Dolphins Bay, see white face monkeys and sloths, and much more! We are happy your family enjoyed Villa Paraíso and the Archipelago of Bocas!

Villa Paraiso

We just came back from a week at Villa Paraiso. It was heavenly! The Villa was very comfortable The air conditioning worked great! The view was spectacular. We did two boat trips with Wes that were fantastic. We saw so many sloths and starfish! He knows how to avoid the crowds to make your trip special. The Cotrell family made you feel so welcome. We will definitely be back!

We are happy you enjoyed everything! The great adventures with Wes, the spa day massage at the Villa , the private pool, beach, and of course the AIR CONDITIONING! Many people who come to Bocas think that a back to nature experience in an opened air accommodation would be a great experience, but being in the JUNGLE ON THE EQUATOR you need A/C!! Villa Paraiso has all that and more!

Saw Paradise, Got Paradise

You look at the pictures and you think it cannot be this good. But it is! We had the two casitas. They are excellently designed and excellently constructed. We throughly enjoyed our week at Villa Paraiso. It was quiet, safe and secure. Plan on having the time of your life.

Amazing place to stay to explore Bocas del Toro!

We stayed at Las Casitas with our two boys and the setup was perfect. The beach front location was amazing, as well as the private pool in the middle. Having the two separate casitas within a gated area allowed us to have the kids close by while having our own private accommodations at the same time. Steve, Angie and family are great hosts and provide the right balance of being available while giving their guests privacy at the same time. We did the one day private boat tour with Wes and the boys loved exploring the islands, seeing sloths and other creatures and checking out some of the local snorkeling spots. We plan to return one day soon and would love to stay here again!

Great family and couple spot

This place was very serene and clean. The pool was comfortable and convenient. We took taxis every day into and out of town. We never had any trouble finding one by walking outside. If you travel the other way, there are some cool quieter restaurants and beaches. I would get up and walk or bike that way each morning before everyone woke up. It was a nice start to each vacation day. Great location and great property!

Perfect casita in a great location

We loved the two Casitas with a pool directly on the beach. Located halfway between Bocas town and Playa Bluff, it was easy to step out our gate and catch a taxi in either direction. Stayed eight days and we never ate the same place twice. Really loved exploring all the fabulous restaurants between Paunch and Playa Bluff. Each casita was very comfortable and it was nice having the small kitchen to do light duty breakfast so we could relax by the pool before we started our day. Our hosts even helped arrange a boat tour. Couldn’t have asked for a finer place to stay. Can’t wait to visit again next year!

Great property great owners …. Super helpful whatever you need just ask them…. If your looking for a quiet private beach to unplug from the world this is your place… they have a Captian to take you fishing and or visit the many islands …. great internet so can do anything you need .. I rented a vehicle so super easy to get around …and taxis are everywhere…. . Bocas del toro town is awesome and this property is located just far enough away…. Great stay thanks Angie and Steve

This place is AMAZING!

We could not have stayed at a better place! We had the whole beach to ourselves, the family and property manager were so nice and helpful and this is the definition of location, location, location. The location is perfect and the property is impeccable. The casitas are so cute, comfy and well equipped with everything we needed. We cooked breakfast at the outdoor kitchen most mornings, which was so fun! Our boat drivers picked us up right off the beach and it’s really easy to grab a cab anywhere you want to go. We’re already working on when we can go back. We will definitely be returning customers!!

Hands down, best place for a relaxing getaway!

This is without doubt my favorite place to stayed in Bocas del Toro! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by family who runs it, very friendly, we felt like part of the family. We spend 6 beautiful days here, which was way too short for our taste. We enjoy the privacy and great location. We had a pool for ourselves and can walk out to the ocean or relax on the beach, all right there where the casitas are. The rooms? Comfortable and very clean. Amenities were great. They gave us our own bikes and local phones to call a cab if needed. I recommend you visit Villa Paraiso, you wont regret it.

We are happy you KEEP COMING BACK back to enjoy the BEST Bocas has to offer! We have thought of everything you will want or need and have included it in your rental: your own private pool that you don't share with other guests, your beach and beach chairs that you also don't have to share, complimentary bikes, kayaks,snacks and drinks, WIFI and Netflix! We also have a chef that can cater any and all meals if you wish!

AMAZING! Will always stay at Las Casitas in Bocas!

This is our second time back to Bocas and staying at this amazing place. Trust the other reviews and know this place is PERFECT! The beach access is is literally steps away from the the Casitas and is perfect for wading/swimming. The rooms/bathrooms are extremely clean and perfect size for a nice get away. The location is perfect as you have your own secluded area and are minutes away form downtown (via taxi, the bikes they provide or ATV rental). The restaurants are really good and the owners give recommendations, which were spot on. The owners take great pride in their property and do a first class service to keep very well maintained, answer any questions you have and give recommendations for food, activities ect. We have toured the island significantly and there is truly no other place we would stay in Bocas. Can't wait to go back!!!

Perfect!

This is a beautiful and immaculate property. The owners are very conscientious and helpful, they keep this property in perfect condition. The location couldn't be better, in a private and quiet area on a beach but still close enough to town! We rented the Casitas with private pool for 1 week and did all the best of Bocas. They have bikes for a short ride to Scully's bar and restaurant, or a cheap taxi ride takes you to town, $2 per person. Rent quads from Steve at Scully's for an extreme adventure of a lifetime. Take a private boat tour with Wes, the Casitas owner's son. He is a wonderful and adventurous guide. Visit the bat caves in Bastimentos with him for an epic underground spelunking adventure!

Kids young and old will thank you for choosing Las Casitas! There is nothing better than having the pool and the beach all to yourselves! Private boat tours with Wes on El Big Fish are not to be missed! They are an experience and not just a cattle herd tour We have a chef that can cater any and all meals if you want to relax and dine in the best ambiance in the island. Netflix for a great movie in the evening and bikes and kayaks for daytime adventures! On the main island and close enough to town for all the conveniences and yet far enough away from all the noise. It doesn't get any better than this!

What a gem!

Amazing property, pool and beach. Even more amazing property manager (Jemima, subbing in for the owners)so nice and always available! We had so much fun on Isla Colon!! Biking (ebikes thru Flying Pirates, Mike was incredibly awesome!) Four wheeling thru Skully’s, the best! Not a group tour (just the way we like it) private thru the jungle and shoreline. The town, Bocas del Toro maybe not for everyone. Pretty simple…the town (not our house) ran out of water for a few days (and cash at ATM’s). However, we loved it and would go back in a heartbeat!! Huge kudos to Connor Contrell and family!!!

Absolutely Stunning

The best place to stay on Isla Colon!! We stayed 9 nights at Las Casitas and had lots of time to explore and talk with all sorts of people. It became pretty clear about 3 or 4 days into our stay that we had THE best place to stay. Private and secure grounds kept clean and neat by the gardener, private pool, private beach on the Caribbean!! Plus a great bed/bath combo with tons of room and an outdoor kitchen/eating area. Wow. There were 5 of us in our group, two adults took one side and the three teenagers took the other, plenty of room, and plenty to do. Easy taxi ride or bike ride into town and easy access to the many awesome beaches outside of town. The arrangement of the buildings affords perfect privacy but still very close by to the Cottrells if you need anything. We can't wait to return!!

Las Casitas of Villa Paraiso is the BEST Bocas has to offer, not only with the private pool and beach, but the ability to access all the islands and beaches of the archipelago within minutes with our private boat and captain Wes! This property is gorgeous.

Our entire stay was incredible. Although the weather was not great, there was lots to do even with the rain and overcast skies. Steve welcomed us with gracious hospitality, and walked us through all the things to do while we were here. I strongly suggest listening to his recommendations for an incredible vacation. Luxury Villa with a beach view.

We stayed a couple other places before and this Villa just blew us away! The place is just gorgeous. I loved the inside of the apartment because it has high end touches and felt like real luxury. Our previous place was the same price but everything was cheap and falling apart. Also, the AC??!!!! Can you ask for more? Of course the pool, outdoor kitchen, and beach were amazing, but we are a bit spoiled when it comes to good sleep in a comfy place. The hosts were very helpful and super kind. We felt safe and welcomed. They provided lots of tips and recommended many different things. Bugs were not an issue so you can really utilize the outdoor spaces. Totally worth your money and time. It was just spectacular.

We are happy you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for sharing with others that there is no other place like Villa Paraiso! We are perfectly located to town, yet far enough away for peace and quiet! The ONLY place on the beach and with your own private pool. And what else is there to say, A/C for heat relief! On top of that complimentary Bikes and Kayaks for exploring!

You walk down from your private pool patio and sink your toes into the sand, only a few more steps for a refreshing dip in the Caribbean Sea!

This is one of the only beachfront properties in all the archipelago of islands in Bocas! You are literally 20 steps from the Caribbean Sea on a soft sand beach. You can enjoy a swim in the warm waters of the sea and then return to take a dip in the refreshing waters of the pool! We are close to town for convenience yet far enough away for relaxation!
