The Space:
This unique home is located just above the main road as it traverses its way through Arthurs Point, Queenstown to Corronet Peak ski fields. We share a gravel driveway with our neighbours from the main road, approx 200 meters. (During winter desirable to have a SUV or similar four wheel drive vehicle) then from our private gateway a flate driveway leading directly to the house.
We are located perfectly between Coronet Peak ski field and Queenstown, with all the important places to see and experience nearby. A beautiful and peaceful home, we are set back away from the main road, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy incredible wide open views, whilst relaxing, rejuvenating and enjoying your stay. Ask us about Spa hire option, this would be located in a private spot with great views, adjacent to the house.
Master King bedroom with ensuite, 2 Queen bedrooms and 1 Twin Single room share a family bathroom, with shower over bath. All rooms have their own heating, all bedding and toweling is of luxury standard being hotel quality.
You will have easy access to all the imediate area’s great restaurants, attractions, and lifestyle activities. Including Onsen Hot Pools, Ten pin bowling, bars, restaurants and Coronet ski field. Plus have easy access and a direct route through to the Remarkable ski fields, bypassing Queenstown which itself is about 10 minute drive away, depending on traffic should you desire.

The house entrance area has some outdoor benches for removing ski gear, walking boots and organising yourself prior to departure and or upon arrival for each days activities.
The house consists of a full kitchen, spacious dining area and two lounge areas. The formal large lounge area also benefits from having an open study area to the side and large Samsung smart TV. All these spaces have fantastic mountain views. There is also a second lounge and chill area, at one end of the large pool table room. Together with a significant reading collection and some games for you to relax and unwind you'll not wanting for things to do.
The mountain facing formal lounge seating area leads onto the main front deck which runs most of width of the property and is gated, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or breakfast before the day ahead! Or, perhaps have a barbeque and celebrate that special occasion with friends or loved ones accompanied by a fine glass of champagne or wine. The lounge windows are all floor to ceiling height, and these let in a lot of light and provide stunning mountain views.
The full kitchen offers all the modern appliances one might expect, cooker, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso pod coffee machine, plunger, and drinks/fruit blender. The kitchen has all the crockery and cutlery reasonably expected from a family kitchen. The dining area is perfect for a family or friends get together over dinner, or perhaps a space to relax, play games or chat about the day’s activities.
Located off the hallway is a utility cupboard with clothes washer and dryer machine, iron and ironing board.
If you want to soak up a real winter alpine environment, then it is possible for us to hire in a temporary outdoor portable spa at additional cost. Offering the opportunity to relax and soak whilst enjoying the fresh air, stars and incredible views. This additional experience is provided by external contractor and based upon availability and one months notice.
3-5 mins drive to base of Corronet Peak - 10min drive to central Queenstown (traffic depending), or a lovely 2km walk into Arhurs Point.

The Neighborhood:
The house is located up a shared private roadway from the main road running through Arthurs Point. This leads to our gated, flat private driveway going directly to our front door. Arthurs Point is perfect for a local night out, bowling, Onsen Hot Pools, a walk, run or a bike ride.
5 min drive to base of Corronet Peak - 10min drive to central Queenstown (traffic depending), or a lovely 2km walk into Arhurs Point.
Getting Around:
If hiring or traveling by car, you will need to ensure that this is a four wheel drive vehicle during winter as we are approximately level with the base of Coronet peak ski field. It is 4/5-minute drive to the base entrance leading to Corronet ski field. 10-minute drive into central Queenstown, depending on traffic. There are also public buses which travel along the main road and taxi is easy if traveling home from Queenstown.
Interaction with Guests:
When we travel sometimes we want to be social, sometimes we do not. Similarly, sometimes we want advice and sometimes we like to discover things ourselves. With this in mind, we like to make arrangements with each guest to ascertain needs or desires. We will likely arrange to greet you on the first day of your arrival, this is to ensure you have everything you need and understand how things work in the house. We will answer any questions you may have and when we know a little more about your visit, likes, and dislikes, offer some friendly tips and ideas for your stay!
