Good value and nice place

I really enjoyed my stay here. Nice and clean, with lots of room for one or even 2 people. Essentially a ground floor suite so it was nice to be able to cook and feel like a home for a few days.

DIRTY PLACE AND DISHONEST HOST. the place as described. HOWEVER lots of random hair on floor and inside bed, the host lied twice and my credit card disputes are being denied bc vrbo refuses to look at the actual evidence and is siding with whatever the lying host said. prior to arrival i told the host i’d not check in on day 1 or sleep there (maybe at all) bc it was a back up rsvp. day 2 i noticed hair on the floor, messaged the host who “cleaned” it. day 3 i was going to sleep there, i saw all kinds of hair in and around the bed (not mine, as my head is shaved). i also noticed hair still on the floor they said they cleaned. after i told host about the bed, they LIED and said vrbo decides about refunds (even vrbo said the host lied, as it’s up to the host to refund not vrbo). host also ceased communication with me so we couldn’t come to resolution. i even asked for partial refund not full bc i didn’t see hair in the bed til day 3 of 8 day rsvp. i disputed with vrbo and they denied my request bc they took host side as if they did not look at me pics and video evidence. i filed dispute with my amex card twice. time 1, it was denied bc vrbo said host said issue was resolved (it was not). time 2, i reopened dispute with amex and it got denied again bc now theyre using technical fine print as excuse. every vrbo phone rep i’ve talked to has agreed with my stance and confirmed the host lied about refund policy and cleaning. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

We are saddened by this review. Kimberly checked in on the first day without issue and only reported a concern on the third day, which we immediately addressed with an additional cleaning at her request. She also used the apartment during her stay, including for cake and dessert storage, which we had no problem with. Unfortunately, she later attempted to create a false case to receive a full refund, even though she had already used the space and we perceived she had family accommodations available after booking. Vrbo has all the records of our messages and the full timeline, which confirm the situation and explain why no refund was issued. It is not fair to claim a refund after occupying the apartment. We hope future guests will respect our home and communicate honestly. We remain committed to cleanliness, fairness, and providing a welcoming place, as reflected in our many positive reviews
