Perfect Location

We've used VRBO extensively and this was one of our best mini vacation stays! The location was perfect, the unit was clean and roomy for our family of 5, and the host was wonderful when we realized we accidentally locked the bathroom door hours before check out!!!

Great place!

The location was great and Karsten was a wonderful host. We had everything we needed plus great restaurant recommendations. So close to the beach! Literally a minute or two walk.

Perfect for the family

We had such an amazing time! Was a perfect location for a family trip. The back patio was right by the walk way which lead straight to the beach. Everything was clean and well kept!

Great Beach Access

The major selling point for this house is the beach access - you can’t really get much closer. The kitchen is nice, it’s the perfect size for a family of four, and we found everything we needed while there.

This was the cutest little condo right on the water. Very clean and had everything we needed. The addition of the beach toys was such a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beachfront FUN!

We had an incredible stay for spring break! We loved the location for our family of 3. We spent most of every day at the beach. We also loved that the complex includes a heated pool we were able to use. The condo was clean, and comfortable for our family. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you!!

Amazing Beach Condo

This condo was the perfect beach getaway for our family vacation - located right by the pedestrian walkway to the beach! The place was clean, stocked with all the essential cooking/kitchen equipment and had great space for family game night. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

I appreciate you taking the time to review. For others seeing this, I want to clarify that the flooding referred to temporary standing water in the parking lot after a much needed rain. Coral Cay maintenance was quick to take care of it, and the water got nowhere near any condos. I hope your next trip will have lots of sunshine!

Summer Vacation

This was such a great experience for our family! The condo was gorgeous and the location was excellent. We got so spoiled having beach access right outside our door. There were even beach toys and boogie boards for the kiddos. Honestly, we didn’t even need to bring our own beach toys because there were so many. The accommodations were perfect for us. The kitchen and living area was spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable and relaxing. We loved staying here and we will definitely be coming back to this property!

Great Location and Clean Property

We stayed here for our son's (20 mo old) first trip to the beach. This is a great location, as close to the beach as you can get. The property was just as advertised, and even a little larger than we were expecting. Parking was very close to the unit which made for easy loading and unloading. There is a shower washoff in between the parking lot and the unit which was very convenient as well. It's is pretty centrally located and you can reach most other destinations on the island within a 5 minute drive or so. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone else looking to book in Port A.

Lovely Getaway

We came to Texas for spring break from Maryland. We wanted to come to the beach for a couple of days, but couldn’t bring a lot with us. Karsten had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware and she had beach toys for the kids. The walkway to the beach is right behind the unit. There are benches on the walkway if you want to just sit and enjoy the view. Kárates also provided us with a list of places to eat and things to do, which was a big help as well. It was a lovely stay. We highly recommend!

Great Beach Location

Our family of four stayed here and enjoyed nearly everything about it. The proximity to the beach is hard to beat, as it’s literally just a few steps from the boardwalk (which is very close to the beach itself). The condo being ground floor is a plus, convenience of that outweighs (in our opinion) the lack of an actual beach view. Condo was very clean, had all we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The master shower is a walk in and spacious, but the master bed is curiously small (twin size). But that is probably the only drawback I can think of, everything else was great. Parking is ample and you’re literally a half mile from all kinds of restaurants and shopping. The owner was also very responsive to all our inquiries and even gave us several good dining suggestions. We highly recommend MacDaddy’s Family Kitchen and Port A Pizzeria, as we dined at both twice and were very pleasantly surprised, as previous trips to Port A left us unimpressed.

Last summer getaway

Karsten condo was beautiful! It looked exactly like the pictures. Big open living space + kitchen, a lot of seating space for families. Kitchen was well equipped. For our family, coffee is extremely important, so discovering a coffee pot AND a keurig coffee machine was literal heaven. They even put out some k cups and coffee for us, which we really appreciate. Both rooms are very spacious and it was nice to have both options of tub in one bathroom and shower in the other one. Just beware, if you go right after rain season like we did. You WILL get attacked by angry and aggressive mosquitos. We had to cover our kids in a towel every time we went out because they would get completely eaten. Obviously nothing to do with the apartment just wanted to let future travelers know this is something that happens here, due to the amount of grass and vegetation in the area, because it CAN ruin your stay. The apartment was also equipped with board games, a lot of blankets, and enough towels for a family!!! Toiletries were provided also. Overall very happy with this property, and the communication with the hostess was always easy.
