Welcome to Whale Pointe, a charming waterfront cottage offering sweeping ocean views from its perch on a high bank near Rocky Creek. This cozy retreat is the perfect getaway for one or two couples, or a small family.

Guest Access
Guests will have full and private access to the entire two-story cottage. Your outdoor enjoyment extends to the expansive, semi-private oceanfront deck. During winter, a special enclosed portion of the deck allows you to watch the magnificent storms without getting wet. Guests are also welcome to use the semi-private common space shared with the other home on the property.

Great view for whale watching, we were able to see them throughout our stay! Easy to find the house and access the lock box. Cute place to stay in. Unfortunately there were tons of baby spiders and large ones as well. Lots of cob webs throughout the house, that was a little off putting.

This place has incredible views! Everywhere you look, there are amazing views. It is awkwardly designed. The kitchen is tiny. The bedroom is on the ground floor with the bathroom and the kitchen. The family room upstairs is cozy and has a comfortable bed, board games, and recliners facing the whales. The place was a bit dirty when we got there, and there were stains on the carpeting. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was noteworthy. It was also pretty expensive for the quality of the accommodations. For example, there was no blow dryer, and the kitchen was below par. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors friendly. It is a short drive to groceries, restaurants, and tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again for the views alone.

The views were absolutely incredible, we could have just sat in front of the window all day. The house was great too, kitchen was a little small for folks that like to cook and the fridge is incredibly small … not ideal for longer stays unless you plan on eating out most days (unfortunate because the views are so amazing ) :) we will definitely be back!!

Checking in was a little confusing, but happened to run into the owner who was very helpful. Beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. Loved how accommodating everything was for our two golden retrievers.

Beautiful view & comfy beds!

The house was great for our getaway. Watching the sunset was spectacular. I like the coziness of the house & it was a great walking neighborhood for the pups.

Beautiful location

Very beautiful place to stay! The location is perfect and the scenery is breathtaking. The house was very clean and easy to find as well. You can see the ocean from the bedrooms which made it easy to relax. We highly recommend staying here if given the chance.

1st time Whale watchers

Property was adequate for our party of 4. Directions were easy to follow and the view from the property was amazing. Spent the weekend on the beautiful deck whale watching.

Stunning property

We can't say enough about the amazing view from every window in this property. Loved sitting on the deck and just looking out on the water. The loft area has plenty of games, dvds, etc. Comfortable beds and plenty of room.

Beautiful View

The view was spectacular. Nice deck for the dogs to hang out on as well. Kitchen was super small, but it was fine as I went out to dinner and breakfast the next morning. The upstairs was lovely and comfortable.

Be aware that the photos are very deceiving. Cons: No screens on any of the doors and holes in the screen window upstairs. Hair left in the shower, broom pan and vacuum were were dirty and the fans were all filthy. We had to take them apart and bring them outside to hose off before properly cleaning. No cleaning supplies were left at the property for us to use during our stay. The refrigerator was just a tiny bit bigger than a hotel fridge. Certainly not suitable for making dinners at home. Sink drawers were very dirty. The furnishings, dishes, silverware, and pots and pans were very outdated and there were chips in many of the plates and bowls. There is only one garbage receptacle without a bag. No recycling bin. We were disrupted during a romantic dinner after being watched through closed blinds in the adjoining house by the owners who knew we were eating crabs and came out to offer us a plastic bag for our shells. Of course we had bags for the shells and the only way she would have known what we were having for dinner was by watching us out her closed window. The first day, our 13-year-old deaf and blind dog opened the sliding door with her nose, which would have been avoided had there been screened doors. he wandered outside. I only had to call her twice before she reappeared. The owner came out onto the deck yelling at me, saying she could lose her license. I wish I had more space to add the terrible Oregon Vacation story. tothemax50@gmail.com

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While this is not a large high end vacation spot. It is very comfortable and the owners are some of the nicest people you will meet.the whale watching was phenomenal.

Wonderful retreat with incredible view

Cozy, comfortable, clean unit and right in line with description. Incredible weather, wave, bird, and WHALE watching throughout our 3-day stay. Will definitely plan to return and would recommend to anyone. Was especially great to have our sweet little old lady dog along. Would not recommend for larger active canines.
