We stayed the last weekend of Mar. The cabin was well stocked and had everything we needed. Location was good as it was isolated enough to ensure a quiet relaxing weekend but convenient to the marina, hiking and stores for supplies. The host was responsive and check in and check out was hassle free.

It was the perfect cabin setting for a weekend retreat. We ventured into Nashville for a concert and enjoyed hiking at Burgess Falls. Smithville and Sparta offered charming downtowns and Cookeville had all of the restaurant options we needed.

We enjoyed staying at the Fox & Bear Lodge for our annual girl’s trip! The host communicated to make check-in and checkout easy. The cabin had plenty of space for lounging and sleeping. We loved the great selection of games/puzzles! The deck was spacious with a spectacular view! We definitely would return for a girl’s trip!

The place was dirty and they had no condiments or spices. That has been typical for rentals in the area and we just replace what we use. The deck was falling apart and not sure if they clean sheets or bedding. It just was not clean. The stove was nasty even the TV looked liked it had something splashed on it.

Serenity plus beauty

This was one of our most relaxing vacations. The peaceful, quiet setting of the lodge edged by lush trees and gorgeous scenic views created the perfect atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The lodge was stocked with games and calrds which we greatly enjoyed. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the dishes and cooking utensils. We most definitely want to come back.

Great View and Privacy

My wife & I loved the cabin overlooking the lake, marina, and bridge. ALSO... being at the end of a country lane was awesome... we were about to hike down the trail past the road and along the ridge to catch another great view of the Lake. Thanks for a great experience. Carl

Our new favorite cabin

We love visiting cabins in Sevierville and Smithville. This cabin was perfect! We visited over Memorial Day Weekend. The cabin is gorgeous and well appointed with amazing furnishings. Master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen was awesome. Absolutely loved the living room and smart tv. Bathrooms were great and it was just so peaceful with games and a stunning view. The outside tables and chairs made the deck so inviting and we loved the grill. Just the best cabin we have stayed in. Even when we needed help with the fireplace the maintenance tech was so responsive, helpful and pleasant. The checkin and checkout process were great as is the 11am checkout. Also liked the call we received prior to our visit to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.
