Beautiful house with lovely gardens. It had all the amenities we needed, and we spent Christmas there, making it a wonderful time with family. The home was very spacious and comfortable. We would highly recommend staying there and would happily stay again.

We stayed at Stunning Highlands Manor in Bowral as a team of employees working in the area, and it was an excellent place to stay. The house was spacious, comfortable, and well set up for a group. Everything was clean and well maintained, and it had all the amenities we needed after long workdays.The location was convenient and peaceful, making it easy to unwind in the evenings. Overall, a great accommodation option for work trips — we’d happily stay again.

Friends getaway

We all had such a fabulous time for our yearly catch up, the house was amazing and so much space to be had with really comfy beds and spacious bedrooms. We enjoyed the sunny outdoor area in the afternoons before our bbq dinners. The gardens are lovely as well. All in all a relaxing weekend away.

A blissful oasis in the Southern Highlands

This property is completely undersold by it's photos. The gardens were so peaceful and beautiful and the property was incredibly private. Everything was spotlessly cleaned and well supplied. We couldn't have asked for more on our weekend away.

A lovely house for a weekend getaway with friends as all six bedrooms are a good size and the big kitchen/dining space looking out over the garden is just lovely. The location is quiet and convenient, and the heating and blinds did a great job of keeping everyone warm. The owner didn’t share details of how to access the property until the day we were to arrive, but the instructions were clear, and all was as described.

Such a wonderful place to enjoy a weekend away with the girls. The location was gorgeous and quiet, surrounded by tall trees and stunning gardens. The manor was well appointed and the beds were so comfy with beautiful linen. Having a queen/king bed in each of the 6 rooms was a huge bonus for us 5 ladies in our 40s. A true luxury in a share house. Ducted air con for our 35 degree days was a godsend and the host, Judy, was easy to communicate with. The only downside was the sole bathroom upstairs for 5 bedrooms was a bit tight and we were too scared to use the laundry shower downstairs as without a screen, we were worried about where the water might end up. The only two downsides to a wonderful stay.

thanks for the lovely review Kristy. Truly appreciate it. Hopefully, we can welcome you sometime in the future. Re the toilets/bathrooms, the upstair has a large full bathroom & an additional toilet. The laundry shower is designed as a screenless shower and there was no risk of water not draining off through the allocated drain. Wish you checked with us and we could have clarified this for you and would have made your stay even more enjoyable!

Wonderful weekend

Beautiful manor house in the southern highlands was the perfect location for our family birthday celebrations. Great location, large property set in gorgeous gardens. The house was so well appointed, everything was thought of. Stunning decor, throughout, comfortable beds and super soft bed linen. Our host was super responsive and made the booking process easy. Thanks for a great stay and we would love to come back in spring when the garden is in full bloom.

Overpriced

Overall it was ok however kitchen did not have the right cooking pots for a big group, house was freezing when we arrived and it took ages to warm up, considering it was winter heating should have been turned on before we arrived. Blinds are missing from bedrooms and bathrooms, lighting is very dim so hard when trying to do things and not many mirrors, non in the bedrooms except the one main bedroom.

Our goal is to ensure that our guests have an amazing getaway in our manor and request that they get in touch with us with any issues during their stay so that it can be addressed straight away. Unfortunately, this guest did not bring any of the issues to our attention but chose to save it for after they checked out, which is disappointing. We have had large groups before including bridal parties who have found the facilities exceptional and rated us accordingly across a number platforms over the past few years. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full set of Scanpan cookware, quite adequate for 12 guests. It only takes a short time for the house to be at comfortable temperature if the AC system is used correctly per the instructions. Being an idyllic & romantic location, overhead lights are soft and complemented by stylish lamps around the manor. There’s are a number of mirrors placed around the house for guest use. One malfunctioning blind was removed which is awaiting replacement. For the quality the manor & its surrounds offers, we believe we offer the best value in the highlands.
