We had an amazing time ! Cabin was really cute and everything was nice and clean. Lake is a short walk or drive from cabin . The little touches in the cabin were wonderful, decorated very nicely . Would definitely go back and recommend !

Lake side getaway

We had an amazing stay. The place even had designated items for our fur baby. We felt very welcoming and had a lovely time. We would love to stay there again in the future!

So very happy!!

True cabin in the woods

What a great little cabin for a weekend getaway! Very clean, and like new, with all of the modern amenities you could think of! Great proximity to the lake and still felt secluded while not far from anything. Would definitely book again!

Had the best and most relaxing time in the cabin in the woods. Bed and linens were spot on, all kitchen amenities needed, hot tub towels and robes along with shampoo and soap in bath. The hot tub is it's own little oasis a few steps up with additional seating. Peaceful and welcoming front porch with a bench swing and single swing -really couldn't get enough of them in our short stay, along with two rocking chairs. Firepit with seating and a quilted hammock. We will be back. Thank you for the care you put into all of the special amenities!

Lovely long weekend getaway

My husband and I stayed for 4th of July weekend. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacay. Even stuff for your pups! It's super cute and uses all available space in the most efficient way. It was pretty quiet and well lit at night. We loved the front porch, the hot tub, the hammock and playing Cornhole after a day of hiking or exploring the area. Our dogs enjoyed cooling their paws in the lake at the end of the street. I do recommend cooking at the cabin. There's not much to eat out really nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Hidden Gem!!

We really enjoyed the 4 days at your place!! Everything was set up perfect!! It's hidden down a dead end street yet we had PLENTY of parking for my truck and 16' tandem trailer w/Polaris! It's nice to have a turn around down by the lake too!! It's located so close to KenLake Marina, Turkey Bay OHV, & even the 400 mile yard sale!! My wife loved how nice it was decorated too! Oh and the BIG TV in the living room was awesome!! We will definitely be back again!! thanks again!

Not quite what we expected.

Overall the place was nice to stay at. Loved the hot tub and the place was furnished very nicely. The lake was in walking distance, but we wanted to fish so had to drive car with all of our equipment. And there was really no bank to fish from but you couldn't tell that from the picture. Probably this place is suited for a younger couple or more adventurous older couple.

To make things easier, the homeowner is purchasing a new collapsible cart that converts to a bench, which will help guests transport equipment down to the lake and provide a spot to sit while fishing. -Since lake access can vary based on the season and water level, we’re also preparing maps that show access points and terrain types, so future guests have a clearer idea of the options available. Quick get away

My family likes to go to the lake for a quick getaway. We like the rest and calmness of being near the water. This place was small. But it was packed full of everything we needed! There was even dog beds and bowls for our furry family members. We utilized the queen air mattress for our teenagers. It was really nice and simple to set up. Everything was labeled which made it easy for us to find everything we needed. We enjoyed corn hole, family games, kayaks, bikes, and of course the hot tub. Fantastic host ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cabin was cute and quaint

The cabin was cute and decorated well. The refrigerator had an air freshener in it that was not for a fridge which caused some of our food to taste like chemicals and ultimately had to be thrown out. There was also no trash can in the home which was a minor inconvenience. The location was quiet but didn’t feel as private or secluded as we expected. The area itself before arriving at the cabin is a little rough. Overall there were a lot of thoughtful amenities and the cabin was cozy.

We struggled with eliminating an odor that didn't seem to respond to cleaners, so the deodorizer was brand new before your stay and, I'm sure, very intense! Also, we have a pull-out trash can to the left of the sink to eliminate clutter in the house, which doesn't make itself very obvious. Thank you for the compliments on the decor. We are disappointed that we fell short of your expectations of seclusion. Being the first house on the street in a small 6-house neighborhood, we designed the outdoor spaces on the side with no neighbors, built the hot tub deck way up the hill with privacy panels, and added sheer curtains on the front porch, all in the best attempt for privacy."
