Hi there! We’re so happy to share our home, Oceandowns Retreat, with you. Hosting started as a fun way for us to welcome people while we traveled, but it quickly became a passion. We get so much joy from helping people feel at home and create great memories here. When we’re not hosting, we’re usually out mountain biking, snowboarding, or surfing—we love the outdoors! We’ll be nearby if you need anything during your stay. Looking forward to making your stay a wonderful experience!

We chose this area because it truly has it all—beautiful beaches, amazing trails, and such a friendly community vibe. Oceandowns Retreat was meant to be our forever home, and even though life took us to a more rural setting, we just couldn’t let go of this special place. We love that you can spend the morning hiking Mount Maunganui, relax on the beach in the afternoon, and find great spots to eat nearby. It’s the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do.
