This is a beautiful basement VRBO with direct access to the garden and from there access to the seafront and walking trail. The owner gave us fast help with a question we had. We have used this VRBO on several occasions. Close to Courtenay with access to many shops and restaurants. Never failed to be a good experience.

We had a marvelous time on this beautiful property. Great location annexed the Royston waterfront trail and a close drive to Courtenay and Comox. Kate and Cleo were gracious and kind hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in all the art on the property. We will definitely try to return!

I had a lovely time. Calm and peaceful. Just what I needed. Close to town but far enough out that it was away from it all. Great walking paths and great view. Wish I could have stayed longer. I hope to return soon.

A delightful property in a great location! We loved that our small dog was able to wander freely in the large fenced yard and also go for walks with us along the Royston Seaside Trail. The rambling garden is just a joy to be in and the seaside view is beautiful. Also a good firm mattress and excellent cookware, (though we could have used one or two more cereal bowls). It’s also close to the town of Courtenay when you need another bottle of wine…Altogether a wonderful stay. Thanks to Cleo and Kate!

We were met by Kate who showed us around the lovely apartment and the beautiful garden with a great view of the inlet.The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed. Great tip as to where to go for wholesome grub- Roy's Towne Pub, a 30 minute walk on the waterfront.

Location convenient to surrounding mountain bike trails. Beautiful, peaceful garden with water views and walking path right out back to the point. Perfect to sip a morning coffee .The suite was immaculate, and had everything you need with a kitchenette to make a quick breakfast before hitting the trails . The host Kate was wonderful, communicative, and helpful with tips on the area.

An incredible location. Beautiful gardens, humming birds, ocean view, walking trails, and Cleo the lab. Kate Brown is a great hostess - regularly checking in, seeing how we were doing. Extremely quiet and totally relaxing. Will definitely stay again.

Thank you Kate for a relaxing and comfortable stay for us and our dog. This was a wonderful base from which to explore the Comox valley and only 10-15 minutes from downtown Courtney and Comox. We loved spending time relaxing in the garden and listening to the birds. We especially loved the beauty of the garden and of Kates colourful art! Would happily recommend!
