After coming to OBX every summer for the past decade Corolla has become our new favorite destination and Searenity made everything easy. Short walk to the shops, shorter walk to the beach, great place to stay.

Exactly as described. Pool and hot tub were great! Easy walk to the beach in minutes! We would stay again!

This house had everything needed to enjoy the week. Close to beach, Close to shops, horse tours, mini golf, restaurants and grocery store. Easy communication with rental Company.

Just the right size and great location

The house was great for a family of 5. Plenty of space. It is in a great location to walk or get to places and it is located at a great spot for getting to the beach.We wish the house would have had items like salt and pepper, olive oil… Just a few odds and ends so that you don’t have to purchase these items. We also wish in the starter kit it came with a scrubbie for dishes and dish soap.I would recommend this place!

Becky, Thank you for your review. We do not provide spices in our properties as previous guest feedback is negative about community spices like this, but we are glad you had a good stay overall. We will address the "scubbie" you suggested. You are correct, we should have something in place like that.

Overall the house was good. It was a longer walk to the beach than we would’ve liked. The pool was over-chlorinated. The water in the house had a bad chlorine smell as well. We couldn’t use the ice in the freezer for drinks because of this. Other than those things, everything else was great. The furniture and beds were comfortable and clean. The house is conveniently located near the shops and restaurants.

We try hard to specify the exact distance to the beach in our descriptions to avoid any confusion and regret you were not aware of the walk. Not much we can do about the city water chlorination but your comments have been forwarded to the water department for the area where this house is located. Thank you for staying with us.

We stayed here the previous week for our summer trip with family. The location is great as it was only a short walk to the beach and it was great having a pool in the backyard for the kids. The house itself was a standard beach house. We paid for early check in, but the house was still not as clean as I prefer. The couches and chairs upstairs had stains, fireplace hadn’t been dusted off for dead bugs and the floors were dirty with dirt under and behind the furniture. The bathroom shower liner was visibly dirty, which is something that should be changed as it is not expensive and unhygienic. The kitchen space was also quite tight for cooking during the week. We did appreciate the few products provided, but would not stay again.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at "Searenity." The location is great and the pool provides a nice extra touch to cool off or on days when the ocean is more than you want. We apologize for the cleaning not being to our usual industry leading standards. The shower liner has been replaced and you are correct, that should not have been missed. We hope you come back again. We would love to host you for a return trip to get a 5-Star experience.
