Welcome to our cozy retreat tucked away with a commanding view of Prospect Bay. This charming cabin-feeling house features open-concept living with vaulted ceilings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious and quiet yard offers a perfect setting to soak in the stunning views of the bay.

The house includes two large air conditioned bedrooms connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. The primary bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Step out from the primary bedroom entrance to be greeted by the amazing view of one of the most beautiful bays in Nova Scotia. Ideal for one or two couples, or a small family of up to four, this property is located in a serene community that values peace and tranquility.

Enjoy beach access right from the property and take advantage of the deep water wharf, making it a perfect spot for those who love the ocean. The property also offers parking for two cars, ensuring convenience for your stay.

Our location offers easy access to many local attractions: just 30 minutes from downtown Halifax, 40 minutes from Halifax Stanfield Airport, 20 minutes from Peggy's Cove, and only 5 minutes from the most gorgeous hike of your life - the High Head Trail.

As a note, this house holds a special place in my heart as I grew up just doors away. It is important to me that our guests respect my neighbors and the quiet nature of the community.

We loved staying in prospect bay. The house was beautiful, updated, and well-equipped. The deck and dock were so lovely to drink coffee on. The house was clean and the perfect distance to so many popular destinations. Greg’s communication and recommendations were wonderful. We would love to stay again if we find ourselves in Prospect Bay!

The cottage was an absolute gem.We walked into a very beautiful, clean and lovey home. The location was perfect. we watched the sun rise over the spectacular view across the water every morning. We felt at home, Greg our host was available if we needed help, he ensured we had all that we needed to enjoy our stay. We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at the cottage.

A Real Gem

This place is lovely. The open concept and big windows with a view of the water are wonderful! The proximity to Halifax and surrounding POI is perfect! Our gracious host Greg was wonderful to deal with!

A beautiful cottage. . tastefully decorated, very clean, well supplied, well equipped. . . in a beautiful location. . . peaceful, quiet, friendly, close to many places. The entire cottage is exactly as it is presented in the listing. Greg is a fantastic host !

We had a glorious 6 nights. The house is well stocked w/kitchen needs, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the bigger room has wonderful morning light, the exterior has a peaceful view of the bay, comfortable sitting. This is a house that feels so welcoming that it's difficult to leave-the host was just that.... very attentive and available and a friend at arm's length.... do not hesitate,this is grand

Book this place!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a beautiful cottage with amazing views. You have plenty of privacy but are still close to amenities. The cottage itself has everything you could need and Greg was easily reachable for quick questions. We only spend a few days here but would love to come back and just relax for a week or two. You’re able to fish off the dock, there are kayaks available to use as well (too adventurous for me). All of the furnishings were super comfortable and we enjoyed everything. I took a chance on this place with only 1 review and have zero regrets.

Beautiful place

Our stay on Prospect Bay was amazing. Property was just right for us (couple w 2 kids). Amazing kitchen setup, stunning masterbdrm, dock was lovely and a gorgeous view. We were able to go kayaking and saw a seal. Neighbours are nice and queer positive. Great to come back to after a day of exploring the south shore. The most amazing hike only 5 min away. Greg was super responsive to any questions or concerns. The only challenge is the lack of close charging stations for our EV but luckily Halifax is close. We would definitely return.
