Bellecroft House, in beautiful Trinity East. With unparalleled vistas, privacy and comfort, this lovingly restored heritage home is perfectly situated for exploring the Bonavista Peninsula, with its historic towns of Trinity, Port Union and Bonavista.
Just a stone’s throw from the sea, Bellecroft House overlooks some 450 feet of private seafront, offering panoramic views of Trinity Harbour, the lighthouse and the village of Trinity just across the bay. We are 1km walk/drive to Skerwink Trailhead and 500 metre to Brightside Bistro.

Bellecroft house is equipped with full kitchen, full size fridge, dishwasher, washer & dryer & all necessary utensil ( nespresso machine, toaster, microwave). Open dining & living area.

Upstairs with two queen size bedrooms, two full bathrooms ( one right outside bedroom and the other one is en-suite) - both bedrooms have sea views and complete with closets.

What can I say-truly lovely home that has been renovated top to bottom. Great location with views that are to die for. The house was well equipped, cosy and provided lots of space for myself and my three sisters. Walking distance to restaurants and to the Sherwink Trail head - absolutely gorgeous. Our hosts were so attentive and wanting to make sure that we had a wonderful stay which we did, thank you - made our stay so enjoyable.

My sister and I had the most wonderful experience at Bellecroft House. The communication with Lily and Chris upon our arrival was excellent. They provided clear directions to the house. Upon entering the home it was everything we had viewed on the VRBO site. This renovated house was lovely. The views of the bay including the village of Trinity was breathtaking. There was quick access to a restaurant and local hikes. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a place in Trinity / Port Rexton with short notice & we ended up finding a magical place. The house had amazing character, was reasonably priced & wonderful owners (Chris&Lilly). The house is a quiet, old home that has been newly renovated with great attention to detail. We were on the water with nobody around and yet still close enough to town. If we ever come back to Newfoundland we would absolutely stay here again. You won’t be disappointed. 10 stars

Bellecroft house is such a beautiful home and a stunning waterfront property! We are so happy to have found this gem of a home. The home was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were two senior couples travelling together and having the use of our own bathrooms was such a great and comfortable convenience. The hosts Lily and Chris are such a wonderful, welcoming, informative and accommodating couple. It was a real pleasure to have met them. Beautifully, lovingly renovated spacious cottage in an absolutely idyllic setting. Photos don’t do it justice. Foxgloves & other wildflowers are strewn all over the already picturesque waterfront setting. Highly comfortable living room, fully kitted kitchen w everything you might need including delicious coffee. Lovely large luxe bathrooms. Ingenious windows/screens that allow the breeze without the rain. The setting is seriously to die for, looking over the water at Trinity, her lighthouse, & the mountains behind. There’s even a picturesque waterfall down the lane. We were lucky enough to see stunning sunsets & a whale at the mouth of the bay. And more, Lily went completely above & beyond out of her way to solve an issue & ensure a good night’s sleep & stay was had by all. The beds are fantastically comfy. Absolutely could not ask for better hosts. She & Chris were wonderful with communication, & with providing all the lux details that make a house a cozy retreat. And the cottage is walking distance to Brightside Bistro - make your Rez! We couldn’t stay away 3 nights in a row. The don’t-miss Skerwink Trail is also walk g distance.Deepest gratitude; we will stay again soon! Lily, you & Chris are beyond wonderful.

The property was amazingly beautiful, both the house itself as well as the views. Its located right on the water with a view of Trinity and surrounding scenery. Our hosts were incredibly nice and very prudent in asking whether we needed anything and offered tips for fun things to do around the area.

Perfect house. Perfect hosts. Perfect province. We couldn’t be happier. Chris and Lily have created a gem of a property.. furnished for comfort with a sophisticated understanding of what informal comfort should be. The house came well prepared including kitchen staples and bathroom necessities. I was surprised to find drawers stocked with rubbing alcohol and first aid items. Lots of white, fluffy towels.. everything but a Swedish masseuse. Lily and Chris dropped by to water outdoor plantings and see that we were okay. My wife said talking to Lily was like catching up wit a lifelong friend. The scenery was breathtaking.. Trinity in sight across the bay. The girls and young women servers we encountered at restaurants were wholesome and willing to chat. They personified the pleasant character Newfoundlanders are known for. We’re back home in Ontario now.. and feeling a bit homesick. Thank you, Lily and Chris, for making our holiday so memorable.

What a wonderful experience! The view across the bay of Trinity was priceless. We stayed with our 3 year old and she absolutely loved the area. A short walk to the water for treasure hunting. Easy day trips with this house as home-base. Chris and Lily were incredible hosts.

Wonderful! 10 out 10 home by the water. Lily and Chris are wonderful hosts and are so helpful. We highly recommend a stay at this wonderful home in East Trinity. Incredibly quiet an peaceful.

Outstanding Accommodation at Bellecroft House

Lily and Chris could not be better hosts… warm friendly and very helpful with information about the area. Beautiful space where we felt immediately at home. Close to scenic hiking, and attractions in Trinity, Bonavista and Elliston … after a busy day this was the most peaceful and scenic retreat. Our only wish was to have stayed longer … Thank you Lily and Chris for making us feel so welcome … we hope to return!

My husband and I loved the Bellcroft House, it’s very clean, beautifully decorated, everything is new and the supplied amenities are top notch, right down to the TP. What can you say about the view, it’s amazing and can be seen from all rooms. The owners, Lily and Chris are very welcoming and always there to help with questions and recommendations. We have stayed in many house rentals and this is one of the best!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Bellecroft House. From the moment we checked in, Lily and Chris were extremely accommodating and gracious hosts. They walked us through the property and made sure we knew how everything worked. The property was spotless, with brand new renovations just recently completed. The property is set on private beachfront which feels extremely secluded and intimate, perfect for a weekend away with my husband and our friends. It was a gorgeous home with all the amenities we could possibly need. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Newfoundland. Thanks Chris and Lily!

We owned Christian's Croft in Trinity for 5 years and sold recently. We now operating Bellecroft House and we aim to provide the same warm welcome and cosy ambience that we were so fortunate to experience ourselves.
