Nice, renovated, lovely big house with large modern kitchen and 2 bathrooms with great baths.
We arrived at check in time at 4pm. The cleaners were still there, and they had not finished the job. Beds not made properly, floors not mopped, laundry sink dirty, pool was very small and had not been cleaned, leaves and sand in pool and a spoon, someone's swimming costume in the garden, weeds in the garden. outside bins overflowing and stinking . The cleaners were called back to finish cleaning by the owner but we refused as this was invading our privacy. We woke up the next morning to find rubbish absolutely everywhere at the front door in the gardens and driveway! It had come from the overflowing bins. The owner was hard to contact at first and it wasn't till the day of arrival we were contacted to sign the lease and then given a code for keys which was stressful as it was the very last minute and we travelled from NSW. The owner sent the pool cleaner on our second last day. We also had the water go off on us on one day. It seemed like it was one thing after another and was very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in a few years. It took almost 2 weeks before we got our bond of $750 back and i had to actually contact the owner to do this. The owner did however apologise on the above and gave us a reimbursement of $150 for cleaning.
