Magnifique villa, accueil et service exceptionnels

Superbe villa tout confort les pieds dans l'eau, avec petite plage (de galets) en contrebas de la propriété, accessible depuis le jardin. Logement au premier étage de la maison, entouré d'une grande terrasse dont une façade donne sur le golfe de Corinthe avec une vue mer époustouflante. Christos et Tassia, les propriétaires, occupent le rez-de chaussée, et font le maximum pour rendre votre séjour exceptionnel : en 12 jours de présence sur place (famille de 5 personnes dont 3 ados), ils nous ont invités deux fois à un délicieux dîner préparé par Tassia, nous ont livré plusieurs fois gratuitement les légumes et les oeufs de leur jardin, et nous ont fait profiter d'une promenade sur leur bateau. La villa est par ailleurs très bien située pour visiter les principaux sites du nord du Péloponnèse (Corinthe, Mycènes, Epidaure, Nauplie, Athènes, etc...).Grâce à Christos et Tassia et à leur magnifique villa, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Un énorme merci de la part de toute la famille, Chistos et Tassia ! Vous êtes formidables ! Nous reviendrons !

einfach wunderschön - ein Traum

sehr tolles Ferienhaus, liebevoll eingerichtet, Küche super ausgestattet, Klimaanlage in jedem Raum, große Terrasse mit direktem Meerblick (wie abgebildet), direkter Strandzugang, zusätzliche Außendusche, liebevoll bepflanzter Garten, optimal für 6 Personen (die zusätzlichen Schlafplätze sind auf einer Galerie im Wohnzimmerbereich (kein geschlossener Raum)), super Vermieter und drei Schildkröten im Garten ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!!

Amazing Villa apartment; amazing hosts!

We were welcomed like long-lost relatives by our host. The apartment was easy to find (specific address), the key was in the lock and our host was there to greet us and help us park within his lovely property full of flowers. We walked upstairs to our beautiful big apartment (the host/owner lives on the first floor) that was not only fully and luxuriously furnished. The beautiful bedrooms and baths had everything one could ask for - down to American outlets as well as European ones as our host had lived many years in Canada. Lovely dining area that had the same spectacular view of the Gulf of Corinth as the other rooms and the wonderful terrace. The beach was stony, as they usually are in Greece, the water a lovely temperature. It was windy so there were a lot of waves. The kitchen not only had tea and coffee for us to use, but cases of water (one doesn't drink the tap water here) but had been also been stocked with cherries, melon and oranges in addition to little sweet cakes his wife made. This was our last night in Greece, so we asked him to make a special greek dinner with roast lamb for us. It was truly amazing! The lamb was superb, the pork dish (for my non-lamb-eating daughter) was enough for all 6 of us and delicious, the appetizers were wonderful - zucchini fritters, the best tzatziki ever, and much more! Dessert was a homemade traditional Greek cake. Beer and wine (light, delicious Greek white) flowed till we could not possibly eat or drink anything more. The next morning when we and to drive to the Athens airport, our host brought us fresh eggs from his hens and a loaf of fresh bread. It was a perfect last day for our trip -- I just regret not having stayed here for more than one night. Corinth and AcroCorinth and the canal are less than an hour away and well worth the visit. Athens international airport is 1 1/2 hours away. Best stay of our trip!

Absolutely beautiful!

Perfect place to stay while in Greece! Located in a small village, centrally located and right on the water! The view from the villa is spectacular! The owners / hosts are the most wonderful people we have ever met! There were 5 of us staying there and we had plenty of room ! The restaurant next door is awesome...we ate there twice and would love to have gone back again, just ran out of time! About an hour and a half from Athens and lots of other sights to see to see as well! When we go back we will stay at this villa again! Just loved it there! Thank you Christos and Tassia, we enjoyed our time with you and miss you both!

Wonderfull. Very nice hosts.

The house is even nicer than the pictures. All is clean and very well cared for. The balcony is very large. Christos and Darcia are the nicest hosts you can imagine. They live downstairns and are always there if you need something. They provided us with water, wine, grapes and we could take all vegetables from the garden we liked. The barbecue was always ready to use. We were even invited to dinner. Just over the street there is a butcher and a mini market. The bigger supermarkets are in Kiato (about 3KM away).

Incredible!

We had a wonderful time. It was absolutely perfect. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and have thought of every little detail. They even cooked a wonderful meal for us one evening. I would highly recommend this location for your vacation. The views are incredible and the house is very comfortable and complete with anything you may need.

Don't miss this example of Greek hospitality

We reunited our family (my wife and me, three married children and two little grandchildren) for a week in this marvellous villa. The house is fantastic and Christos, the owner, stuffed us with wine, mineral water and was helpful with all our needs during the whole week, including fresh eggs from his own chicken coop, and fresh vegetables and fruits from his garden. The sea is just there, stretch your hand and touch it. The villa provides all your needs for the beech which is one step from the back yard, chairs parasol shadow, two rowing boats and Christos served us with complimentary grappa and ice, cheese and fish in the beech. We felt like kings. The Korinthos bay is beautiful, the sea shows several different colours by the hour, and sunset and moonrise are priceless. In the kitchen we found everything for a foody big family, including olive oil and spices and a lot of crockery that filled the dishwasher every evening. What more can be said. Catch this villa. superbe séjour

Christos, qui vit au rez-de-chaussée est un hôte en or : il nous a aidé, approvisionné en fruits et légumes de son potager, emmené en bateau, conseillé... Nous avons été accueillis comme si nous étions de la famille !l La maison est idéalement située près de Corinthe (possibilité d'excursion dans tous les grands site tels que Epidaure, Corinthe, Mycènes etc.). La maison possède un accès direct à la plage (galets), une douche extérieure permettant de se rincer, un barbecue extérieur, un joli jardin. L'intérieur est bien équipé, climatisé, confortable.

Villa Corinthia was outstanding, the pictures do not do it justice. Seven of us spent a week at this beautiful villa on the coast of the Gulf of Corinth (5 meters from the water). Our host Christos was available to provide for our every need, from fresh eggs from his chickens in the morning to a shot of Masticha (Ouzo) in the evening. He and Tasia prepared a Lamb on the Soufla for us and our 15 guests that was outstanding. The view from our terrace was breathtaking and the courtyard and grounds were beautifully maintained. Christos and the villa provided everything we needed to make our vacation perfect. The interior of the Villa is just as breathtaking as the view outside. Look no further for your dream 'home away from home'. This is it!!!! John & Wendy L.

Absolutely unique and warm experience

It is not my habit to write reviews, but in this case I really want to share our positive experience. We visited the property with 5 persons (2 adults and 3 children) in July 2015 and can absolutely recommend it if you are looking for: a stunning seafront view, a quit location without noisy bars next door, a good location to visit the north of the Peloponnese, an extremely friendly and helpful owner and family, a nice and comfortable place to stay, direct access to the sea, the sound of the sea while you are taking a nap or are asleep, fresh vegetables from the garden, an excellent restaurant next door, getting (small) food and bread by foot, unique sun rises, .... too much to mention. Everything written in the description and all the other feedback is 100% correct. There is not a single negative thing to mention... it was paradise on earth. Bigger shops are a few minutes to drive. Bars and entertainment (if you are looking for this), is only 10 minutes drive towards Corinth (also sea side). We had very nice meals, excellent wine, stunning views, good advise for visiting the surrounding, .... just 100% positive. We wish Christos and Family all the best and in the event we return to the area, we will for sure contact you again. Thank you for everything you did for us and our kids.

Very stunning villa, with a great beach.

This villa was everything the owner said in the listing and more. Perfect for a family holiday with excellent road, rail and bus links to Athens and the rest of Greece. The owners were warm, inviting and very hospitable with plenty of local knowledge, their English was excellent too. Plenty of supermarkets in the neighbourhood, and the nearest restaurant is next door, excellent too. The villa is spotless, well equipped and comfortably furnished, with plenty of room for us. Lovely garden, with a veg corner, so we had lovely salads. The best thing, sitting on the balcony watching the sunset with a glass of wine in my hand, and I would go back tomorrow if I didn't have to go back to work.

Unbelievably Fabulous!!!

We would return to this home definitely. Beautiful home, stunning location, welcoming host! This house was right on the water - you could swim in beautiful water right there at your home. Lovely views! Christos, the owner of the property, was warm and welcoming, not intrusive. Our grandkids called this house "the farm". He took the kids and showed them the hen house and let them collect eggs; he let them take vegetables from his lovely garden; and was a true warm wonderful host. The house itself was beautiful, well-maintained and clean as well as modern. He had left us wine, eggs, etc., all we needed to get started. It is located well to tour various sites in Peloponese which was our purpose. Also has restaurant very close as well as others nearby. I cannot think of anything negative about this house. It was absolutely outstanding. The photos don't show how fabulous it really is. Do book this home and love it as we did!

Happy New year's holiday days in villa Corinthia

I came with my friends for New year's holiday period in this beautiful property. It was the best choice we could have made. The location was very good for touring the Peloponnese. We made lovely trips to several interesting and historical places. The house was perfect with beautifully design and modern comfort. We had plenty of room. The kitchen is well equipped. The sea-view from a balcony was stunning. We will not forget the breath-taking sunrises above the sea. Christos was very friendly, attentive and generous host. He treated us with cookies, wine, fruits, and fish. He also helped us to repair a car. Thank you, Christos! We had wonderful time there. I strongly recommend for everyone. Amazing Villa with incredible view

The pictures of the Villa do not do it justice - it is absolutely gorgeous. The deck offers a breathtaking view of the gulf to hang out on and catch some sun. The Villa is located in the perfect spot to either relax and enjoy the beauty of the gulf coast or make day trips to tour the country side. Christos is the perfect host, providing a continual supply of wine, fresh eggs and fruits. Eliana was extremely helpful when booking the property and supplying information about the Villa and area. Absolutely Amazing!

If you are looking for a warm, welcoming home away from home while you tour Greece, look no farther! Our party of four couples stayed for two weeks (and we were even up to 10 people for a few days), and it was only with great reluctance that we ended our stay to return to our real homes back in the U.S. The quality of the accommodations were all top notch, the view was unparalleled, the patio/decks were incredible to lounge on, the kitchen was well stocked, the outdoor dining and grilling facilities were great, and most of all, our host/owner Christos was incredibly friendly; in short, it couldn't have been any better. When I selected this villa as our base to explore Greece, focusing on the Peloponnesian Peninsula, it's centrality was one of the things that was key to me, and it was perfect in this regard. We rented a van and drove in all directions from the villa, logging over 2,000 miles/3,200 km, and if you want to see the real Greece and get off of the beaten tourist path, I'd suggest renting a car. The Athens airport is a very easy 1.5 hour drive north, and then from the Villa, all of the key sites are within easy driving distance. Corinth & Loutraki are a half-hour east for city and tourist 'stuff', Nemea is a half-hour south for wine-tasting, Mycenae, Nafplio, and Epidavaros are all about an hour away, Hydra, Kalavrita, and Olympia are about 2 hours out, and then 2-3 hours away is Delphi, the Mani Peninsula, Sparta, Momevasia, etc. In short, to see all of these main sites, the Villa's location is perfect, and then shopping for food is only a few minutes drive away, although there are two small markets just steps from the villa. In closing, we all thank our wonderful host Christos for an amazing stay, although we know you felt bad that you were laid up due to your knee replacement surgery. When stranger means friend - Part 1

There is a delightful ambiguity in the meaning of the Greek word 'xenos', which has existed at least since the time of Homer. It can mean, simply, 'foreigner' of 'stranger'. But it can also mean 'friend', especially in the sense of a long distance friendship. This arose because in ancient times, Greeks thought that strangers could be gods or goddesses in disguise, so they looked after them well in the hope that, if indeed the stranger were a god, they would be be blessed. One could be forgiven for thinking that, particularly with Greece's present difficulties, times might have changed. Wrong! I recently returned to Greece, with my girlfriend, for the first time since the onset of the crisis, and, despite the obvious signs of hardship, this wonderful quality of the Greeks was as strong as ever. The hotelier in Amphissa welcoming us as we drove into town late at night, the generosity of the Gemelos taverna-owner in Ancient Corinth, who would not allow us to leave without two bottles of his tasty wine. And so it continued - throughout our 17 day trip all across the country. We had planned to spend 6 nights in the middle of our tour in one place, as a break from our travels. The seaside villa we had provisionally booked turned out not to be right for us. This found us stretching the afore-mentioned taverna's wi-fi facilities to find an alternative. Into our screens on HomeAway came Villa Corinthia in close by Nerantza. It was obviously meant to be, because the exact dates we required happened to be free. As it was only 15 minutes away, we drove to the gentile seaside village of Nerantza and found the villa, which is immediately by the sea (balcony views as if from a liner). Introducing ourselves over the wall from the beach, the owner Chris invited us in and showed us around. The villa comprises two apartments, the one which Chris lets being on the upper floor, but guests have full use of the charming, lush private garden (with direct access to the beach) as well as large balconies. Comfortable, well-appointed with two bathrooms, and plenty of bedspace, it fitted the bill perfectly. We had a wonderful and relaxing time, enjoying the excellent food from the butcher and village shop (within 100m across the street), views, sea breezes, wonderful swimming and local restaurants. So what has this to do with 'xenos'? ... (continued in next review)

Superb stay

We received wonderful hospitality from the host. We were a group of eight, and fitted comfortably into the 3 double rooms, and 2 single beds in the loft extension. The house has all facilities, and is extremely comfortable. The proprietor's offer of home-grown produce (including copious eggs) is genuine. The waters of the Gulf of Corinth are literally 5 steps outside the back gate, and they offer great swimming opportunities. Better, we all thought, than the world's largest swimming pool! The house itself enjoys plenty of balcony/terrace space for those who like sun-bathing. Perfect get-away location. But also, perfect for the sightseer: we had a hired car, and thus easy access to all parts of the Peloponnese, and even as far as Delphi. Athens is just over an hour by car. The open-air theatre at Epidavros is about an hour-and-a-half away. In short, luxurious accommodation, in a perfect location. For all this, the price is excellent value.

Going back next year..

This was my third time in Greece and my second time at Villa Corinthia. We were looking for a villa on the sea and this place was DEFINITELY 5 steps from the sea. You could see and hear the sea from everything and it was so refreshing and delightful. We walked to the boardwalk and right next door there was a lovely restaurant where we watched the sunset. I would like to thank you for your warm welcoming and helping us to make our vacation unforgettable. With big pleasure we are coming back next year again.

Ask for the Chef experience!! So worth it!

When we arrive in Greece is was so unbearably hot we didn't think we would enjoy ourselves. When we arrived at Villa Corinthia we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing weather. It was so beautiful during the day with clear skies and at night we slept with the doors open instead of aircon because the breeze from the mountain was so perfect. We had a family reunion here and we decided to have meals cooked for us every lunch. It was the best bang for our buck and there was SOO much delicious food. Some days we ate in the garden others on the beautiful terrace. I have never tasted such amazing food in my life! Everything was so fresh. One day, Taki, the owner, made a fire in his spit, and roasted a lamb for us. It was an amazing experience for our reunion and would recommend to families, friends, or couples alike. It was so spacious and it had plenty of room for everyone!

It's the best property on the Corinthian bay! It has 270 degrees of panoramic view and is on 200 feet of seafront property. Within steps, you are in the water! And of course, you will be able to eat all the wonderful produce from my beautiful vegetable garden (tomatoes, cucumber, green peppers, eggplant, zuchini, beans, Greak Spinach)
