Welcome to Cedar Shores!

Step into the light and airy cedar cottage on the shores of Wasi Lake and feel instantly relaxed.

The large screened in porch is perfect for sipping your morning coffee or storm watching on rainy days. Spend your afternoon taking a dip in the lake from the sandy beach, soaking in some sun on the dock, or playing lawn games. Finish the day by enjoying the best sunsets on the lake around the campfire.

Perfect for a family getaway or group fishing trip, the cottage offers 3 bedrooms and a loft.

Main floor:
- Bedroom 1: Queen Bed & TV w/ Chromecast
- Bedroom 2: Double Bed

Loft:
- Bedroom 3: Queen Bed & TV w/ Roku
- Open Area: Two twin beds and one pull out couch

On the main floor you’ll find the kitchen with ample counter space and essential appliances and cooking utensils. The open concept dining/living area is perfect for having dinners, playing card games, or relaxing. Enjoy all the comforts of home with the spacious bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub, tiled shower and indoor plumbing (if needed, there is also an outhouse outside). Stay cool in the summer months with two AC units.

Comfort:
Stay connected during your visit with high-speed Starlink internet and stream your favourite shows or movies on one of the three TVs.

Clean towels and bedding are provided. We ask that you use the towels for bathing only and bring your own beach towels.

Please note, we are on a septic system. Although the water is run through a purifier system and is safe for washing dishes, we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking and cooking. A water cooler is available for drinking should you run out.

Laundry machine and dryer available on request for longer stays (1 week +).

Furry Friends Welcome!
We love our dogs like family, so you don’t have to leave your furry family members behind when you visit Cedar Shores. We just ask that you keep pups off the furniture and pick up after them outside. Note, there are other dogs on the road so please keep yours on the property (two tie-ups available). Speaking of the road, there is a strict 20 KM SPEED LIMIT on Bayview Drive. Please drive slowly.

Things to Do:

- Enjoy driving around the countryside visiting local farmstands selling fresh produce, eggs and meat (map provided at cottage).
- Fish right off the dock or bring your boat (boat launch down the road at Wassi Lodge (small fee of $22.50). Wasi Lake is known to have walleye, smallmouth and largemouth bass, yellow perch and northern pike.
- Looking to get in a round of golf? Clear Springs Golf Course is only a 5 min drive away and Highview Golf Course is 19 minutes away
- Our neighbours at Wistiwasing Farm host delicious gourmet dinners on their farm (seasonally) – Check out when their next one is or what is available at their farmstand @wasichefs
- Bringing your ATV or side-by-side? There are endless unmarked trails in the area with beautiful lookouts


Near By Towns:
- The adorable town of Powassan is a 15-minute drive away. Here you can find a grocery store, Beer Store/LCBO, local restaurants and more.
- Groceries/LCBO are also available at the Astorville Freshmart 15 minutes away
- North Bay is approximately 35 minutes away. If you’re planning a day trip, we recommend going for a stroll down the beautiful waterfront, shopping downtown and checking out some of the local restaurants or breweries (we’d be happy to send recommendations!)
