Roses

Well, I first had a hard time with the lock. I put in the code and kept trying the pad lock thinking the shackles would open up, but thanks to the home owner all I had to do was flip open the door.The pool water was green and dirty, The pool pole was placed on my path to my front door.The interior door to the house was unlocked & the door bar was open.

Rental Stay

I enjoyed my stay host very pleasant. The coffee pot in the room was not cleaned someone had brewed coffee in the coffee pot. Overall stay was good

Cozy Private Room

The room was very neat and tidy, and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was clean and organized, with clean towels, a coffee station, and shower products. We didn’t know that the family would be home (that was probably my fault for missing something in the description). It was just a bit of a surprise, and maybe a little awkward, but they weren’t a problem at all. A very lovely home. Would definitely recommend and stay again if available and needed.

Visit for graduations.

The property is well located and very quiet. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The only negative was the low water pressure in the shower. I highly recommend!

Nice & Easy

Check in was easy. Quiet neighborhood. Room was comfortable, but dated. En suite was large with 2 separate sinks.

Good option for us

We needed a place to get a good night of rest and this room provided it. I was happy to have a fridge and microwave so I could have snacks and breakfast as well. We would stay here again.

Very nice room with comfortable bed and amenities except there was no cable TV. I told the owner they need to install cable on the TV.

Great location-nice quiet neighborhood.

The only issue I had was that the door connecting the guest room to the main house was poorly insulated and I could hear pretty much everything going on over there, including a small child. A little frustrating.

Great overnight stay

Just needed a quiet place for a one night stay to be at a conference early next day. This fit the bill. The bed was very firm for me but perfect for my hubby, also very low to ground so if you have leg issues might be tough. Very nice host family

Suggestions:

Wonderful & kind hosts! Very responsive. Suggest telling guests best time to shower because of shared hot water with family. Suggest a portable heater for unit when main house heat is off.

The only issues I had was the water pressure for the shower was very low and it took a long time for it to heat up. There was kids screaming and fighting but like any other hotel I guess you would get the same. It’s a good area and very safe. Not sure if I would say there again because there was people living there, and the room was connected to the home.

Lots of Noise and slamming

I don't recommend this place! We left at 9pm.due to all the loud noise and slamming doors. Children yelling. People talking. Banging, we finally left after my husband and I felt bugs crWling on us in bed.He got a bite on his left ankle and I got two bites on my right upper arm.Never again!!!

Not again

The gate dragged when opening and on closing. The walkway to the back was very uneven, hard on me because I use a cane. The water pressure was way too low, hard to shower. If the next tenant is handicapped in any way, they should not stay here.

Perfect

i arrived at the property around 11pm and left the next morning around 6:45. It was a short stay, but exactly what I needed; a convenient, clean and cozy place to catch some sleep before an out-of-town golf tournament.

Overnight respite

This place was exactly what we needed. We came to town for an evening event at our church and we had a doctor's appointment the following morning. We ended our day with a wonderful swim in the pool. The following morning we were local, so it was so much easier to get to my doctor's appointment. Our host was very helpful and courteous.

The location is the master suite, entry is through the gate. I basically had the whole backyard and my room. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Okay stay

Nice people and nice place except the pool was dirty , the kids where loud and every time they turn light on in house it would shine in our room . It was also very hot I had to ask to turn on air . Really no privacy for the money I paid .

Nice room in home but…

This was a clean comfortable room but check in directions need to show better instructions on room location and access needs better lighting. Also very hot at night with no temperature control in room. Nice shower and the mini fridge and microwave was a nice addition. Family noise from main house (other side of door) but no worse than a hotel. I’d stay here again as it was safe and clean.

Private bedroom

I liked that I had my own entrance but had problems with the lock box getting into the property. There is no light over the lock box and I could not get it open. Also it was raining a lot and every morning I had to work through an inch of water to get to my car.

Great host, average property.

First things first, the host was friendly and quick to respond to messages. The property was in a decent neighborhood which was quiet and we felt safe. Good location and worked very well for us as we were only in town for a long weekend to visit family. That said, I don’t think I would stay at this house again. The room was dated and the bed was very soft. The bathroom only had 2 working light bulbs (out of 6) so it was hard to see. There was mildew in/around one sink and the shower left a lot to be desired. There was NO water pressure and hot water was iffy at best. We were only given enough towels/washcloths for 1 night and the extras I asked for were sour like they had been left in the washer too long. We didn’t have cups/plates or shirt hangers, and only half a roll of toilet paper. We brought bathing suits but ended up not using them because the pool wasn’t cleaned while we were there. The room does not have its own thermostat so it was VERY hot. The host was quick to turn the AC down when asked but overnight it would get hot again and we woke up sweaty. The ceiling fan helps a bit but not enough and the only window is in the bathroom so it gets stuffy. When booking, the space looked to be an in-law suite but was actually just a room separated from the rest of the house by a door which was not soundproof and didn’t block light coming though the cracks. We were woken up by the host’s kids both mornings we were there and could hear them using the bathroom.

Safe Clean Room

The room was safe and clean and some nice plants in the yard. Wifi worked well. There is not inside seating for two to eat which is no big deal. We had our breakfast by the pool. Having a little outdoor side table to put your coffee cup on would be nice. The pool was pleasant in the mornings. You cannot control your own AC. There is one window that opens, which in in the bathroom (no fan in bathroom). The other window is the entry door, which is glass with curtains. There is a ceiling fan you can control. We made it work. Adding an inventory list of what is in the room regarding food prep would be nice. I knew where was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There were also mugs, plates, bowls, paper plates, silverware, a nice serving tray and more. Adding an extra shelf in the shower so the products provided were within reach could be a nice add on. The coffee maker, ceramic coffee cups and condiments are staged on one of the two bathroom counters. There is a cupboard in the bathroom where the other food related things are stored. We dedicated one counter to coffee and "dishes" and one to the bathroom. There is a little vanity area in the bedroom. It is not by the fridge, but it is the only table surface, so we turned that into the food prep area. It might be nice to rethink the set-up to have more food surfaces besides the bathroom counters and the bedside tables. If the gigantic TV was mounted on the wall, the area below that would be usable.
