Only moments from the village pub.  Nestled amongst Baileys Meadow, a cluster of cottages, 7 steps up, lead to 1 Baileys Cottages. On the ground floor is the master bedroom with a king-size bed, en-suite Bathroom with roll top bath and exposed original stone wall, creating a fabulous feature piece. Stairs lead up to the first floor, cosy double bedroom and separate shower room. Open-plan kitchen/living/diner. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and benefits from a Gaggia Coffee Machine, the perfect way to start your morning and plan those adventures across South Devon. There is a central island within the room with two bar stools, alternatively the owners have provided a fold away dining table which can be set up within the kitchen space. At the other end of the room is the comfortable living area, featuring two sofa's and TV. A great place to unwind after a days walking along the coast path. There is no outside garden area, however in this wonderful part of the South Hams, there are so many outdoor places to explore and enjoy.  Take time to explore the mesmerising town of Dartmouth, only 10 minutes in the car. With its quaint cobbled streets lined with galleries, restaurants and cafe bars and its picturesque estuary offering river and coastal cruises. For a day at the beach, less than a mile is Blackpool Sands, a Blue Flag beach which is one of the best known beaches in South Devon, offering a good variety of water sports and The Venus Cafe on the beach is open all year round.
