On the south-western edge of Dartmoor National Park, Devon, in and AONB and SSSI.
The Beehive is an eco-consciously constructed cabin, hidden away on the banks of the River Tamar. It is the perfect tiny home that provides a cosy hideaway, nestled in the wilderness of the countryside. It has ample space for 2 adults and 2 children to stay and offers riverside views and a private outside space for the whole family to enjoy.
Approached via a half mile winding country driveway and etched upon a sylvan backdrop with buzzards wheeling overhead. The tastefully refurbished cabin once served the local beekeeper with a store for his bee equipment, but has undergone a sensitive restoration to offer luxury self-catering escapes for couples and families. It’s dog friendly too.
Rustic and warm by nature, The Beehive has character bursting right through this picturesque cabin. Windows frame views over salt march meadows and the river. Nestled into the edge of 368 square miles of Dartmoor National Park, and Cornwall beyond.
Surrounded by sloping landscapes, the river and ancient woodland, this cabin serves as an amazing base to explore the magic of the Devon countryside.
The cabin became the owners covid project. Carefully and skillfully renovating the 40 year old cabin with reclaimed materials. Insulating and up-dating to become a warm and cosy space to share with friends, family. This very special space is also available for a few short weeks a year to rent for that special romantic holiday.

With hillsides of wild garlic, primroses and bird-song. A host of wild birds and bees a cacophony of natural sounds. Otters, deer, muntjac deer, and hedgehogs are regular visitors.
