There is a king-size with en-suite bathroom. To the outside there is a patio with furniture and barbecue, along with off-road parking for 2 cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome however smoking is not allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Within 3.8 miles there is a shop and within 3.9 miles there is a pub. Bothy is a splendid retreat in a charming part of Cumbria. Please note, the property has access on both ground and first floor levels.

Take a ride on one of the meticulously restored steam or diesel trains on the South Tynedale Railway, which runs from Alston to Slaggyford, through the breathtaking beauty of the South Tyne valley. Additionally regarded as one of England's best salmon rivers, the River Tyne offers local day-ticket fishing. The Killhope Lead Mining Museum offers a terrific family day out with interactive exhibitions. The North Pennines used to be one of the richest lead mining centres in Europe.
