Peruzzi Royal Suite - Your luxury cozy nest in the very heart of Renaissance

Peruzzi Royal Suite is a mid-sized (66 sqm or 710 sqf) 3 rooms (bedroom, living with kitchen, bathroom) apartment located in one of the most beautuful little squares of Florence, piazza dei Peruzzi, originally built in the XIII century by the Peruzzi family, very rich bankers of their times. The square is built on the walls of the ancient roman amphitheater of Florentia and still keeps its oval shape, and can be easily recognised in any city map. The Peruzzi Royal Suite is part of the noble Palazzo Salutati, lastly refurbished in late 1600 and one of the historical buildings of downtown Florence. The entrance of the building is clearly witnessing the noble origins of the Palazzo, with large stairs made of grey stone and arches allowing the view of the entire stairs. The Suite is at the “ammezzato” floor, located between the 1st and the 2nd floor, and is accessible with 45 large and easy stairs. The Suite has been completely restored and refurnished in the first half of 2022 by Silvia Mura Home Decor, who designed all the interiors of this little jewel. Entering the Suite you will see the “trompe l’oeil” picture behind an arched door, and on the left a little arch that was discovered during the workouts. This kind of arches was used to give more stability to the building, and sometimes the arch was used as door or just filled with bricks to be part of the wall. A small piece of furniture, originally a night table, stands right in fron of the arch and welcomes our guests.

Walking through an opening in the wall you get to the living room, a 25 sqm space dominated by the large wall covered by a wall paper representing the facade of an ancient bulding. In the living we have a 3 seats sofa easily convertible into a double bed, 2 armchairs, a little coffee table and a large 55” OLED LG smartTV, easily orientable as desired.

The second half of the room has a dining peninsula to accomodate 4 people for dining, and a kitchen with everything you may need for short or longer stay: Siemens induction cooking plane, Bosch dish washing machine, Samsung fridge with 4 stars freezer (down to -21deg C or -6deg F), Bosch electrical oven, Samsung microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine, American coffee machine, a boiler and a toaster. The kitchen has also pans and pots, and of course 3 kinds of plates, 4 kinds of glasses (red wine, white or sparkling wine, water, drinks), coffee cups and tea mugs. Elegant placemats, silverware and serviettes are also available. Breakfast is self served with a rich choice of different jams, Nutella, honey, toasted bread, choice of cereals with milk, cookies, fruit juice, tea and infusions. And of course coffee of your choice: espresso (Nespresso style capsules) or american.

From the kitchen, and walking through a rounded door you get into the charming, large (20 sqm) bedroom, with a king size (180 cm wide) bed with and extra comfortable sprung mattress (25 cm high) and 2 different pillows (duck feathers and memory foam) to chhose from or to use together. The bedroom is furnished with antique furniture: 2 night tables and ww armchairs early 1900, and a chaming small toiletry dated end of 1800. But we also offer the latest technology to our guests: a large 55” OLED LG smartTV and 2 abat-jour classic design with touch on/off and 2 convenient USB plugs. In the bedroom we also have 2 wardrobes in a separate space, with a large silver framed mirror.

Last but not least, we get into the large (16 sqm) bathroom, a real pearl of beauty and style, where you get amazed by the walls covered with paper representing plants and birds that take you into a fantastic jungle, and where your eye is impressed by the rich silver leaf plated basin furniture and the amazing free standing bath tub with a view on the roofs and the Piazza dei Peruzzi. Bath salts are available in the bathroom for our guests. A separated large shower with rain effect diffuser and marble style walls offers dispensers for shampoo and body gel, and caps are available. A toilet and a bidet have their own space. Hand soap and intimate detergent dispensers are also available in this unpaired bathroom.

The Suite has wooden floor in all spaces, including the bathroom, so you can take off your shoes and relax.

The Suite has air conditioning in the living and in the bathroom, as well and radiator heating and split heating systems. However, as most of historical buldings, our Suite has very thick walls so it easily remains fresh in summer and warm in winter.

The Suite has free fiber Wi-Fi connection in all rooms. The two smartTV’s offer free Prime Video and Disney Plus subscriptions, in addition to all other free channels.

This luxury Suite is cleaned and housekept (linen and towels) by a professional company thus guaranteeing the highest grade of cleanliness and sanitisation at industrial level. A complimentary set of comfortable slippers for each guest is also included.

In the Suite our guests will also find detergents, wipers and vacuum in case of need.

Safety always: our Suite has 4 smoke sensors, 1 CO sensor and 1 NH4 sensors. NH4 gas is only used for hot water and heating though, as cooking plane is induction. In any case a foam fire estingusher is available in the kitchen.
