Town: The artist David Hockney made Hunmanby, a lovely village nestled on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, renowned. This popular, lively community, which is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and landscapes, has a view of Filey, a historic beach resort in North Yorkshire, as it looks down across farmland. Hunmanby, which is sandwiched between Bridlington and Scarborough, is home to the venerable Market Place Cross and Hunmanby Hall Golf Course. Excellent amenities are available there, including historic coaching inns, stores, cafes, and restaurants. There is also a train station that connects to popular cities like Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby, and other nearby towns. Filey, a charming historic coastal town with two upscale promenades and magnificent sandy beaches bordered by rows of clean, colourful beach huts, is only three miles distant.
