Villa Buongusto is a splendid and luminous three-story villa made of stone. It sleeps 11 people. From Villa Buongusto you will enjoy a spectacular view over Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the island of Capri. Villa Buongusto is 280 square meters (3000 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two private patios, two private gardens, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 1.8 km (1.1 miles) from Massa Lubrense, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 150 meters (490 feet), a grocery store at 750 meters (820 yards), the bus stop at 1 km (roughly 0.6 miles) and the closest beach (Spiaggia Marina della Lobra) at 2.3 km (roughly 1.4 miles). You will reach Villa Buongusto from the parking area going up a route that includes approximately ten stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Buongusto you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for up to two small cars (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller). If necessary, you can park larger cars for a fee along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

The villa has external spaces for 500 square meters (5,382 square feet), including garden, swimming pool area, and parking area. It is an ideal place for spending some quality time relaxing and enjoying the wonderful views.


As guests of Villa Buongusto you will have the opportunity to hire a personal chef and take part in cooking classes, upon request and for a fee.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 3 meters (10 feet) large by 6.5 meter (21 feet) long, from 1.40 meter (4.6 feet) to 1.60 meters (5.2 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff). The area is equipped with deck chairs and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the sea and of the island of Capri. The pool is open from the beginning of April until mid-October.
Patio
The patio is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic grapevine pergola. It is equipped with a sofa and two armchairs and with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and of the island of Capri.
Garden 1
The garden is 115 square meters (1240 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. The garden is equipped with a wood bench, as well as with deck chairs. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view over Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the sea.
Ground FloorLiving Room 1
You will be able to enter the first living room from the dining room through a stone arched opening. The floor is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include a sofa and two armchairs. There is a nice fireplace made of bricks. In this room you will find a smart TV. The room has a window, as well as a small high window.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the kitchen. The furnishings are classic and welcoming. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. The furnishings include two armchairs. From the dining room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room has a small high window.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. There is also a small wood-fired pizza oven. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. From the kitchen two French doors will take you to the patio. The room also has a small high window.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the dining room going down six steps. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter a small patio equipped with table and chairs through a French door. The room also has two windows. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, small and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the kitchen. It has a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The furnishings include a desk. The room has a high window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, small and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the living room and from the kitchen through a corridor.

You will be able to enter the fifth bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed).
