Villa Capannori is a stunning, large Tuscany villa rental, sleeping up to 18 guests in 9 beautiful bedrooms. This large Tuscany villa dates back to the mid 17th century and is situated amid the most famous villas of Lucca including Villa Reale, Villa Oliva and Villa Grabau. The villa is set within parkland with mature, century-old trees, immaculately tended flower beds, Mediterranean plants and fruit gardens all blending together perfectly.

The Space:
Inside, this large Tuscany villa offers 1000 square metres of living space, arranged over three floors. On the ground floor, there is the main kitchen with original wood stove. Doors lead directly out into the garden. There is also a dining room on this floor along with a living room and a second, smaller kitchen. Two bathrooms are equipped with a toilet, bidet and hand basin. A cellar has been converted into a wine room. Original wooden barrels add plenty of character and there is an excellent selection of wines for guests to sample. Doors also lead directly from the cellar to the garden.

On the first floor of this large Tuscany villa is another living room with focal fireplace, another dining room and another kitchen which opens out onto a covered terrace with seating for 18. There are also two double bedrooms on this floor which share a bathroom as well as a further double bedroom with its own bathroom. A frescoed music room is furnished with a beautiful piano which guests are welcome to use.

On the second floor of this large Tuscany villa is a fitness suite, equipped with running machine, exercise bike and much more. There are seven bedrooms on this floor. The first is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room. There are then two twin bedrooms which share a bathroom with shower. Two additional twin bedrooms share a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, bidet and 'his and her' sinks. Finally there is another double bedroom and another twin bedroom which share a shower room.

This large Tuscany villa is beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. There are many original frescoes dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, all restored in 2018. Many other original features such as cotto flooring, wooden beamed ceilings, marble columns and original fireplaces all add to the historic authenticity of this large Tuscany villa.

Outside, a gallery of roses crosses one side of the garden from the swimming pool (13 x 6 metres and 1.10 to 1.60 metres deep) to one of the lemon houses. Inside this building, you will find a table tennis table and billiards table. A second lemon house has a kitchen, perfect for those looking to enjoy a cookery class or pizza making party. This limonaia is the perfect venue for a special occasion, or just a quiet place to sit and relax and is equipped with a professional kitchen. There is also an external pizza oven that guests are welcome to use. Finally outside, there is also a large jacuzzi tub in which to relax.

Please note that the property is fully air conditioned but air conditioning is not included in the cost of the villa rental. Guests must pay for the cost of any air conditioned usage on departure at a rate of 0.60 euros per kWh.
