Quinta do Sol - Arcos de Valdevez

Quinta do Sol is a beautifully restored stone cottage offering a perfect blend of the original features, regional décor elements and modern amenities.

The place boasts a vast outdoor space with a swimming pool, well-maintained lawns, fruit trees, and borders with a stream and woodland at the bottom of the land. If you are looking for some peace and quiet in the garden, whether lounging on the lawn, swimming in the pool, or dining on the terrace - Quinta do Sol offers it all!

The cottage offers comfortable and functional space for 4-6 guests. It has two good-size double bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen-diner-lounge with a sofa-bed downstairs. The fully equipped kitchen has everything guests may need, and there is plenty of storage in the upstairs' bedrooms, too.

Quinta do Sol is located in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood of Gondoriz which belongs to Arcos de Valdevez. There is a small grocery shop down the road where guests can buy food and drinks, as well as any essential household items. Bigger shops, banks, hospital and a good number of restaurants are just 10-15 minutes' drive to the nearby towns of Arcos de Valdevez or Ponte da Barca.

The nearest airports are Porto or Vigo (Spain) - both of them are approximately 1 hour drive to the cottage. In order to be able to explore the area and the National Park of Gerês it is best to hire a car which can be done by the airport or locally in Arcos de Valdevez / Ponte da Barca.
