The space
This is one of Canterbury's secret homes. Nothing can be seen from the street except the front door. Although on a busy street, all is serene inside. It is a listed cottage, that was the warehouse attached to the Victorian grocery shop at the front, on the street. Some of the walls are curved like a stable and it is said that the shop did its deliveries by donkeys with baskets on their backs.

The property has just been totally restored and decorated. It is a couple of minutes from Westgate gardens, This property is a perfect location just minutes away from the bustling City Centre, leaving you spoilt for choice for things To do. The High Street is full of independent businesses, a wide range of restaurants and entertainment.

This home is in the perfect location to enjoy a Busy day in the City and enjoy a relaxing walk back to your home away from home.

The downstairs of the property is a stunning open plan design with a kitchen, living area and a the conservatory, this holds the dining table, the glass allows light to flood in over the whole of the ground floor, making the home feel so bright and refreshing with so much open space.

The living area contains a fireplace with a tv and a sofa, the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the historic city. There is also a WC on this floor.

The property has a fold out mattress to be used downstairs, this is only suitable for a child.

Carrying on up the bright white wooden stairs of the property you’re met by the large bedroom, this spreads the whole of the second floor. This room contains a double bed, storage for your clothes and a good sized bathroom with a shower and a bath.

This property also has a Small patio garden for guests sole use with table and chairs. Beyond the trellis is not for guests use.

This house is solely for the use of our guests.

Other things to note
This property comes equipped with the following:
2 dishwasher tablets, 2 washing machine tablets, 1 washing up liquid, 1 Antibacterial spray, 1 Kitchen roll, enough toilet roll for at least 2-3 days, there is also rolls of purple waste bags, please only use these, they are Canterbury Council Waste Bags and the only ones allowed for waste collection in the area.

We also provide all bed linen, bath and hand towels and toiletries for guests

Our home is perfectly equipped for family holidays by the sea! And we hope to have the pleasure of hosting you soon.

Additional rules
Thank you for your interest in our property, we would like to remind you that as per our House Rules, we observe a strict no party policy; Gatherings, parties or social events are prohibited in our home. Should such events occur (or be reported during your stay), please note that you would be liable for any damages to the property and you might be subject to loss of deposit and eviction regardless of the check-out date, the moment any such activities are reported.

Our home is in a residential area and maintaining a positive relationship with our community is important to us. Thank you for your understanding.

Accidents happen, so If during your stay any breakages occur, please let us know as soon as possible so that replacements may be provided in time for the next guest's arrival.

Please could we ask that NO hanging decorations/banners are put up in the property.

Please note rubbish will only be collected if in the Purple Canterbury waste Bags, they are provided at the property, please only use these.
