Welcome to Padergnone, a charming hamlet located in the Trentino region of norther Italy. Located about 10 kilometres west of Trento and at an elevation of 400 meters, until 2015, Padergnone was a municipality on its own. Since January 1, 2016, thanks to the merge with Terlago and Vezzano, is now a municipality called Vallelaghi. Situated between Trento and Valle dei Laghi, this small town is known for being the "original source" of the Vin Santo, a well-known delicacy from Italy. Don't forget to taste it! One of the highlights of Padergnone is its beautiful natural surroundings, with its nearby lakes - Lago di Santa Massenza and Lago di Làgolo - and many more attractions, such as another stunning (biotopic) lake and its castle, located in Toblino. Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy in Padergnone. The surrounding countryside is perfect for hiking, biking, and picnicking, with numerous trails and parks to explore. We suggest some places to seek during your stay, such as the Botanical Garden "Giardino Botanico Alpino Viote" and the hiking trail of "Antonio Stoppani". Padegnone is also well-connected to other cities in the region, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area. For those interested in history, in Trento, we recommend paying a visit to Castello del Buonconsiglio (along with its Museum) and MUSE, another museum dedicated to Nature and Science. In addition, "Terrazza delle Stelle", is a rather nice observatory in Trento. The nearby Lake Garda - from the side of Riva del Garda - is a short drive away and offers opportunities for boating, swimming, and sunbathing. If you are seeking a slower atmosphere, we suggest Terme di Comano to unwind and relax. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled vacation, Padergnone has something to offer. Book your stay in this delightful city and experience the beauty and charm of northern Italy.
Along with the reservation, guests gain access to the Trentino Guest Card, with illimited access to the public transportation of Trentino Trasporti in the urban (which covers Trento, Rovereto, Alto Garda and Pergine) and extra-urban area.
