Papa Bear’s Retreat is in the beautiful Cedar Falls Resort. The resort has a swimming pool, basketball goal, catch and release pond, nature walk, pavilion, and a chapel. The cabin has 2 king suites with TVs on the main floor. One suite has a tub/shower combo, and the other has a shower. The great room has a stone fireplace with a 65 inch TV and 2 sleeper sofas. The fully-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a table that seats 10. The full-size washer and dryer are under the staircase. Queen bunk beds are in the loft next the the third bathroom. The loft also has a sleeper sofa, 65 inch TV, pool table, and arcade game. We have Xfinity TV with voice remotes and Wifi. Two TVs have BluRay players. Our decks wraparound 3 sides of the cabin. The front deck has a swing and rocking chairs. The side deck also has rocking chairs. The back deck has room for everyone with a stone fireplace, gliders, a picnic table, a pub table, a grill, and a hot tub.

Family Vacation
This was our family vacation. We absolutely loved the covered deck with all the seating. Our grandchildren road their tricycles on the deck while we enjoyed the day. The fireplace is so relaxing! We absolutely loved the huge table in the kitchen!! Our entire family was able to sit around the table and eat together for every meal!! We will definitely try to rent this cabin again if we come back to Pigeon Forge!! We had a Great Time!!!

Our “Happy Place”
This was our third time to stay in this cabin and it was a pleasurable experience as usual. The covered porch and fireplace is our favorite way to spend special family time. The cabin is well stocked and decorated nicely. We look forward to returning again!

Holiday Weekend Getaway
We were a family of 8 and it was perfect! This was our second time here and love this place because is absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean and well stocked with towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and other amenities. The porch is great for gathering with family around the fireplace and it’s very spacious. The kids also enjoyed the board games as well as the arcade. We love that the pool is a short walk away as well as the nature walk. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen was well equipped and accommodated our needs. I highly recommend staying here.

Simply Amazing!
This cabin was simply amaging! We come to Pigeon Forge every year and this is the 2nd time we have stayed at this cabin.Not only is it clean and well furnished, but Has a wrap-a-round porch with an outside fireplace!!! We love that within walking distance is a pond, picnic area and trail. The entrance to the community is absolutely beautiful with a covered bridge and water wheel. We are looking forward to next year already!

Beautiful Home, Great Location
The home looks beautiful on line but is even better in person. My husband and I stayed with another couple and this cabin was perfect. The main floor has two bedrooms with King Beds and en suite bathrooms with double sinks. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has a massive granite top table that will sit 10 people. The living room has plenty of room to sit and watch tv but the outdoor space is what made me book the home and it did not disappoint! There is a huge fireplace with gas logs which was so convenient. A nice, large gas grill and a hot tub all close to each other so you can sit in front of the fire and still talk with someone in the hot tub or whoever is grilling. The loft area of the home has bunk, queen beds which we did not use but there is also a pool table and video game system which was fun. The home was very clean and well cared for. Parking is easy and there was plenty of space for multiple vehicles. We drove around the neighborhood and all the homes are gorgeous. Access to Pigeon Forge was easy with back roads so we were able to avoid the nightmare traffic on the main strip. Overall we had a great time and would definitely book this cabin again.

Beautiful Cabin-Accommodating Host
Pictures were accurate as to decor/surroundings and outdoor area was very nice. We did have one major issue of washer not working for 4 days so that was quite hard to deal with, but owner did all that she could to accommodate us by letting us use another rental's machine, sending extra towels, and getting repairman there as soon as she could. Basically a good trip minus loss of time trying to catch up on laundry while on vacation and having to bring home dirty laundry. All in all a nice rental and good host.

Perfect Stay
This cabin was beautifully decorated and well stocked! The hot tub stayed hot and was clean. The cabin itself was clean enough that I didn’t feel the need to wipe everything down with Clorox wipes. The kitchen had everything you need to cook from a stand mixer, blender, crockpot and coffee pots to coffee, sugar, cream salt pepper etc. If it’s not there then food city is a short drive away! It’s a whole lot of cabin for just 2 people but we will be staying here again!

Memories made that we will cherish
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Our family of 7 stayed and everything about this place was perfect! You will not be disappointed! The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The large table not only allowed us to gather for meals but also for playing cards and board games. We made many memories talking and laughing in the living room around the cozy fire and beautiful Christmas tree. The jacuzzi, large porch with another fireplace our family also enjoyed and we liked having privacy with no cabins behind us. We had plenty of space to gather together to spend time relaxing , laughing and having fun! We will definitely be back! Priscilla was excellent with communicating with us and providing instructions inside the house which made it using items so easy.

Perfect setup!
We checked in late at night. Owner communicated everything we needed to know beforehand so it was a breeze. Cabin was clean, decorated well and fit every need we had. Convenient location in a quiet clean subdivision away from all the traffic but only a short 5-10 minute drive to the main strip in Pigeon Forge. Definitely will be utilizing this cabin again.

Weekend with the Grandkids
This property was perfect for a 2 families with 4 smaller children ages 3-10. The loft area contains oversized bunkbeds and a pull-out sleeper sofa; that was exactly what we were looking for to keep the kids all together in one room. The cabin itself is gorgeous. The bear theme is a nice touch and the kids loved it. And, as if on cue, we saw a bear on the back porch on our last full day there. No harm, just checking the place out. There is plenty of room for a larger family. We were 8 and never felt crowded. The dining table can even seat up to 12. The kitchen was fully stocked for nearly everything you would need including a lot of left behind seasonings and coffee filters. Even the K-Cup drawer was stocked. I've stayed in cabins in the area for many years and this is one of our favorites. I've been in places where access may be a bit tough for some vehicles, but this area is lower and you would not need to deal with the steep inclines. Access was very easy for my son's van with all of the kids. This was another criteria for us. Communication with the owner and check-in, plus instructions were great. I contacted Priscilla prior to, and during our stay, and she was extremely quick to respond. Thank you for a great weekend. We will definitely keep this location on our list for future visits.

Girls Trip 2023
We had a fantastic time! It was Girls Trip 2023. There were 6 total in our group. The cabin was exactly like the photos. Loved the resort it was located in. Very peaceful and quiet. The cabin had everything we needed. It was a close enough drive to all the tourist attractions and far enough away to feel away from it all. Love the little fish pond where you can feed the fishies. The wrap around deck was perfect for sitting out on and drinking coffee in the morning. Will definitely be back!

Comfy cabin with easy drive to Pigeon Forge
This cabin is just as described and shown in photos. The wrap-around covered porch with a one-button fireplace made for a great, completely dry, cozy hangout during our rainy stay. There was plenty of space to enjoy sitting outside, despite the weather. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for our trip. The house is nestled in on a corner with the perfect amount of privacy out every window, yet with other signs of life nearby. There were a couple houses up the hill a bit so you don't feel abandoned, but they are conveniently out of view from the main living room area. It was also a great location with an easy 14-minute drive to get to the main strip in Pigeon Forge. The whole route is a pretty flat road, with no big hills to travel. The community where the house is located in a beautiful, quiet area with an enclosed small park with climber, slide, swing and teeter totter for young kids and a half basketball court. This park-like flat area provides a bit of a nearby destination to take the small kids for a change of scenery and to burn off some energy. My teens enjoyed the basketball court, which happened to have a complimentary basketball, which was greatly appreciated. There is also a little pond with some koi where we saw a few kids with poles "pretending" to fish. All in all this house and it's location are fantastic and I'd highly recommend them both!

Girls weekend trip
Our group of 6 came for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. The cabin was so nice, clean, had great amenities, and the property was beautiful. You have everything you need. We had plenty of space. There’s a creek that runs behind the back of the house that was so peaceful to listen to. We used the hot tub and fireplace out back a lot which was super nice to have and very relaxing. We did have an issue with the AC when we arrived but it was fixed the next day. Would definitely stay here again!

There was ice on the ramp leading into the house. The lantern on the porch being held by the bear is broken. The fireplace on the back porch will go out for a second then fire back up again. It did this several times. Cabin itself is beautiful. There was dried wax on the dining table and some crumbs on the counter. Coffee pot and stove top needs to be scrubbed. But over all great place to stay. Thank you.

SMOKY MOUNTAIN GETAWAY
Very easy renting the cabin. Cabin was very nice. True to the pictures on the listing. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Everyone had their own space.

We are a retired couple who wanted a place we could come with our grandchildren and could also rent to help pay expenses for the cabin and hopefully provide a little extra income. We love the Smokies, and the grandchildren love to go to Dollywood and Splash Country.

This property is in the gorgeous Cedar Falls Resort which has a catch and release pond, basketball goal, swimming pool, playground, chapel, pavilion, and nature walk. The cabin has a little creek by it, and it's got 0.65 acres, so it's pretty secluded from other cabins. Since we are getting older, we wanted a ramp at the entrance instead of steps, and we wanted grab bars in the bathrooms. We don't have to go up any stairs to get to the bedrooms or bathrooms or hot tub or decks. We only have to go upstairs if we want to play pool or the arcade game. We enjoy rocking on the peaceful decks and just relaxing and listening to nature.
