Experience the renowned fall color and glistening water as you kick back on the patio with your favorite beverage or enjoy the convenience of your boat docked steps away as you head out for your next big catch.

The Suite is tastefully designed yet simple. We love the waterfront patio and bedroom decor. This cozy spot is centrally located to many area attractions and best for those looking to be steps from the pristine waterfront. While we take a great deal of care for the places at Alpine Resort, if you're seeking a perfect flawless place or are super high maintenance this is not the place for you. The location is beautiful; there is a breakfast/lunch diner (seasonal), public beach, and jungle gym right across the street. We also have 4 kayaks, bikes, air hockey, garage area available for shared use!

Guests have access to all common areas; driveway area, yard around cabin, boardwalk/dock area, kayaks, bikes, air hockey, garage area.

-Note also that this is a resort with 4 separate buildings being rented however there is still plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the grounds, reference overhead photos if you have questions on layout.
-The property is also located on a busier road which does cause some daytime noise however the suite does sit furthest away from the road.

-The Jetty diner/campground store across the street! (seasonal)
-Beach/play structure across the street
-Grocery market/2 restaurants (one on waterfront/one pizza takeout)/gas station/ATM ~1 min drive
-Hit the Road Joe on Elm (likely passed on the way in) amazing pizza and breakfast call/plan ahead as they have limited hours
-Newaygo State Park and the famous dragon trail (hiking/biking/etc) ~10 min drive
-Dragon Trail/Hardy Dam ~10 min drive
-ORV Trails ~15 min drive
-Newaygo Brewing Co ~12 min drive
-Coolbough Natural Areas/hiking ~10 min drive

Great waterfront suite!
What drew my husband and I to this resort was that the cottage/suite was located on the Muskegon river. What wonderful view from inside the cottage! There was a very nice patio and an area with a firepit. The nicely decorated cottage was very clean with a spacious, well stocked kitchen. We had one day out of our three day vacation in which the weather wasn't favorable, but there is a supply of games and plenty to watch on TV. The property does have several bicycles in which we made use of. There is some traffic noise being you are close to the main road, but it was no problem for us. The owners are only a phone call away with any questions or concerns. We felt very comfortable here and totally enjoyed our stay! We definitely would book again! Thank you!

Clean Clean!!! But traffic a bit noisy for my liking.
My husband and I planned a 3 night stay to unwind and relax from a very busy year. Upon entry the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. It was absolutely spotless and this was definitely appreciated. It also had all the basic necessities you would expect and the view of the lake was very nice. However, it was not as quiet as we had hoped due to it being so close to a heavily trafficked road. The traffic did die down at night but during the daytime when we wanted to enjoy the lakeview and some conversation from the patio, there were several times we couldn't hear one another over the loud motorcycle engines. But all things considered, it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful Waterfront Cottage
We enjoyed our stay with a beautiful view of the water. The Cottage was perfect for our stay with many little extras provided. Everything close by for dinning & entertainment. Hope to return when weather is warmer for some fun in the sun & fishing. The host did a great job communicating with us & making sure we had everything we needed for stay!

Please note we just purchased the Alpine Resort and put it on VRBO so although the resort has been around for many years it is fresh to VRBO so our reviews are minimal.
