Rocky start but overall great!
We were a group of six, 4 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 7. We have stayed in the area before but first time at this property.
While we were en route, we learned that the washer was broken. While not ideal (we’d planned to do a load or 2 while there) we could make do. Upon arrival, there were no towels in any of the bathrooms (we did ultimately find some that were questionably clean), no toilet paper or paper towels, and the sheets on the bed had hair on them.
The owners were very apologetic, and did everything they could to rectify the situation. I truly believe we were just the unlucky group to rent after a not great renter before us - towels had been ruined and with a broken washer, it was an unfortunate situation. I believe too that the washer wasn’t working properly, which was the deal with the sheets. To reiterate, the owners were incredibly apologetic and responsive to our issues. We were refunded our first night’s fee. We went to the laundromat and washed the sheets and the towels we could find, and new towels and paper products arrived the next day. It was an unfortunate situation for all involved, but resolved in a fair manner.
After the rocky start, the rest of our stay was great! The beds were quite the literally the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on away from home. The property was clean and had a great beachy vibe. The pool was warm and a super quick walk. While we’d brought our own stuff, there were beach chairs and boogie boards to use.
