Spacious apartment, less than 2 blocks to the beach.

Two blocks from the beach and boardwalk in the heart of Rehoboth Beach is 55 Philadelphia Street. This well-maintained vacation rental is a spacious garage apartment with two levels, providing ample space for everyone to enjoy. Enter up the stairs to the first level, and you will find two bedrooms, one full bathroom, and the open-concept living area. Here, guests will love all the windows surrounding the living space to maximize the flow of the breeze as it blows down the street from the ocean. Up another flight of stairs, guests will enter the loft area that functions as the third bedroom. In addition to having space for the whole family, 55 Philadelphia Street is also a pet-friendly rental! Guests are invited to bring their pets along on vacation - owner asks that only dogs be brought, and that a $300 pet fee per pet be paid as part of any reservation where guests will bring a dog. There is also an outdoor 12 X 9 bluestone patio for tenants to enjoy. Rental guests at this home can also pack light - the owner provides bikes and beach chairs for use during your stay! They can be found in the garage below this unit. Property has off-street parking for one car, and the owner also provides one on-street parking permit for use at any non-metered parking spots in Rehoboth Beach. Home is cooled with A/C Units.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $175.20. To purchase the linen package please indicate on the linen addendum, an agent will be in touch with the lease agreement and additional paperwork.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Great location, okay shape
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. The place is okay--it's more rough than described. There is open wiring on the stairs going to the second floor. Although I generally expect to bring what is needed to these rentals, there was no dishtowels or paper towels or even a half of a roll of toilet paper when we got there. We will likely not stay there again.

Great Location...But!
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon our arrival for a month long stay, we found trash cans overflowing from what appeared to be weeks of trash that had not been moved to the curb for pickup. Flower beds were totally overgrown with weeds encroaching upon the sidewalk. Entryway carpet is tattered and torn. Second floor is barely habitable. Stairs leading to this level are somewhat treacherous. Two weeks into the rental the renter of two window a/c units came and removed them leaving us with inadequate cooling on both floors in the 90+ degree heat. Main living area couch and jumbo round chair are way oversized and I doubt Goodwill would take them. Ground level laundry was filthy. The two vacuums on the ground level were choked with dirt and unusable so we had to purchase our own vacuum. We left it cleaner than how we found it and will not return.

Great Location and Property
The overall property was great. It is a nice location and layout for the family. The natural lighting was nice. Having the on-site washer/dryer is a big plus. Cleanliness was an issue as there was quite a bit of dirt and left over "stuff" from previous folks.
