Did you know that Fort Bennet is just a 2-minute scenic walk on the beach from Pride of Courland?
Fort Bennet is located in Black Rock Tobago and it overlooks Grafton Beach and Courland Bay. The Fort was built by the Dutch between 1682 and 1636. Later, in the 1680’s the Courlanders refortified it, in order to protect their then flourishing settlement in the Great Courland Bay area.
