Gorgeous condo/view, maintenance issues
Strengths: very kind and helpful staff. The employees at the front desk and restaurant were incredibly kind, helpful and just pleasant overall. They were approachable and willing to help us with any question or favor. The pool, hot tub and seating was amazing! Comfy chairs and very large hot tub. Water was sparkling clean and creative seating in and outside the pool.
Inside the condo: was extremely clean and spacious. Plenty of kitchen appliances, dish ware, Tupperware and utensils made cooking and prepping food easy. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Furniture was nice looking but not very comfortable. Balcony was my favorite place to sit.
Needs improvement: the kitchen had sugar ants that invaded our food. I couldn’t leave anything on the counter so I tried putting it in the cabinet but they got in there too. When I messaged the owner we did not receive a response but instead came home after dinner to a bottle of bug spray on the kitchen table. It felt weird to know someone had just let themselves in with no notice or any communication. However, the locals are so friendly this may have seemed culturally acceptable. Aruba feels very nice and we were never concerned for our safety.
Our first impression was a bit disappointed in the amount of maintenance that needed to be done. 1/2 pools was roped off and emptied, ladies room was out of service entire day so we had to use men’s room all day while waiting for checkin. 1/2 elevators was out of service
