Bill and Ellen are restauranteurs, long time Outer Banks residents and owners of Golden Dayz. Property manager Barbara Barker is here to assist with all bookings, check-ins/check-outs, and answer any questions you may have.
Perfect and Comfortable home for 6 with seating at the custom painted dining table plus an additional roomy bar area with four stools. A Large, open deck for afternoon gatherings, picnics and spectacular sunsets views. Large, inclosed Outside shower is great to rinse off after a day at the beach. Located 6 blocks from the Albemarle sound so bring your paddleboard or kayak. Lovely, wide bike path runs along the sound for miles too! The beach is very close by for more fun in the sun.
We cater primarily to families and have included as many of our favorite amenities we like to see on vacation as budget would allow. We realized we couldn’t accommodate everything on our wish list but we tried our best to fulfill the items we want most when we travel. Aside from being clean, safe, and well managed by Barbara, we are hoping for your VRBO property to be even better than the pictures you saw when you booked! Comfy beds are a must as we all know chasing those kiddos around in the sun all day is exhausting! Besides a well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, utensils and gadgets to cook with for your group, there is an awesome jumbo sized park grill out back. There are some great beach reads, games, DVD’s , corn hole an even a Miss PAC Man machine for beach breaks or rainy days. We thank you for choosing GOLDEN DAYZ and hope you enjoy your stay on the Outer Banks! Best Beach access is just 2 blocks south at First Street, Kill Devil Hills, NC

This west side 3 Bdrm, 2 Bath home is perfect for small families. Wonderful Beach Access just one miles w/Parking, Stairs, Lifeguards and Showers. We are beautifully appointed and attention to detail for your comfort has been carefuly thought out. Located near the sound for boating enthusiasts, fishing and crabbing availability. Perfect well deserved get away. Short stays or a week or two is welcome at "Golden Dayz". Property has 4 parking spots on site, Corn Hole , amazing Outdoor shower, Grilling Station and Large outdoor deck. New Target (opening 4/3/23) Movie theater just across the bypass, Publix, Food Lion, Lowe’s, Food Lion just a mile down the road. Convenient to dining, shopping and sightseeing. GOLDEN DAYZ is located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills and is is just a 1/2 mile from the Atlantic Ocean and few blocks from the Albemarle Sound. Beach Access's with free parking are located along Va. Dare Trail (Most commonly known as “The Beach Road”) every few hundred yards. First and Second Street are both very popular with plenty of parking although it is always best to get there early in season. Sound Side access is available for kayak's, paddle boards and small boats and we are located just 3 blocks south of the public boat ramp at Dock Street and Bay Drive. Bay Drive has a great bike/walking path that runs the length of the street and is fantastic any time of day but especially at sunset. The movie theater and Target are just across the bypass from 4th street and we are a half a mile away from Lowe’s , Food Lion and Publix grocery stores. Historical sites are located up and down the beach. From Wright Brother's Memorial to Jockey's Ridge State Park (Tallest Sand Dune on the East Coast!) The Lost Colony is a family tradition for many and know for being the longest running outdoor drama. We have some really great restaurants here on the Outer Banks and have listed some of our favorites in our Guest Guide. Be sure to check it out for all the sites to see and our Restaurant list of choice. Dine where the locals dine and you can't go wrong.
