While the location, amenities and views were great, the cleanliness was subpar. I wish I had listened to the reviews from other guests, but as a seasoned travel agent, I like to believe reviews should be taken with a grain of salt.
This was not the case with this unit. There is a serious ant problem in the kitchen which was so bad we had to throw away so much food that we had just bought the day of arrival due to the fact that the ants had gotten into it all.
There were stains on the sheets, pillows and comforters. Hairs were found on the sheets, towels and pillow cases. One of the comforters had a huge hole in it.
It was so bad we went out and purchased our own linens and pillows and towels to use as we were far too grossed out to use what was provided.
There were dust bunnies and cobwebs all over the unit.
The coffee cups were gross and covered in fuzzies and grime.
My phone had slipped between the couch cushions and I lifted the cushions to get it out and was completely disgusted with how filthy it was under them.
A new cleaning company needs to be sought out.
Perhaps VRBO should reconsider their new found partnership with Vacasa.
Will not return to this unit and will seek out via other sources for future stays rather than Vrbo/vacasa.
Cleanliness is not up for discussion for me. Ever.
Photos were sent to Vacasa upon arrival. They offered to come in and clean. Why wasn’t this done prior to our arrival? Never. Again.
