The cabin was exactly as pictured. My husband and I -- both in our mid-70's -- enjoyed four wonderful days here. We enjoyed Smoky Mountains NP as well as the area. Our favorite "activities" were enjoying our morning coffee and evening wine on the deck. Truly - our #1 criteria for choosing a place to stay was having a mountain view that we could enjoy. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg would have appealed to us more when our kids were young.
The cabin is nicely and comfortably furnished. That said, the bed on the main level was so high we BOTH needed step stools to boost ourselves up. Any family looking for a convenient, comfortable, lovely place to stay would enjoy Breathtaking View. And a word of advice: DO pay attention to the packing list provided by the owner.
