Situated below the vineyards of the Domaine du Portail, close to the Château de Cheverny, La Tibourdière is an old winegrowers' farmhouse, the oldest part probably dates from the 18th century.
Our cottage is located at the entrance to the estate. It is located along the communal road that serves the house, so it is quiet and away from the road.
We have completely renovated this house as if it were our own, with almost everything brand new.
On the ground floor, the house is divided into 3 areas: a living and dining room with an open-plan kitchen, a bathroom, WC and laundry area, and finally a bedroom with a double bed.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with two single beds that can be converted into double beds.
The house faces east-west, so you can enjoy the sun all day long.
In the evening in summer, you can watch the sun set over the vineyards!
The house is heated in winter and has a wood-burning stove in the living room. Deckchairs, an outdoor table and chairs, a barbecue and parasol are available for the warmer weather.
The house is equipped with WiFi, a television with DVD player and a washing machine and tumble dryer. A cot and high chair can be provided on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped: oven, microwave, induction hob, fridge-freezer, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine.
On foot from the cottage : you can visit the châteaux of Cheverny or Troussay and taste the wines of the neighbouring estates.
You can also go hiking, on foot, by bike, on horseback or with a donkey: many paths and other GR pass by the house.
The surrounding area offers a wide range of activities: in addition to châteaux such as Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceau, Troussay, Blois.... and Beauval zoo, you can also take advantage of the natural swimming pool at Grand-Chambord, go swimming on the banks of the Cher, visit the mushroom beds, an educational farm, the Saint Michel biscuit workshops or the workshops of chocolate-maker Max Vauché...
For golf lovers, the Cheverny golf course is a 5-minute drive away.
You can also shop for cheese, milk, eggs, fruit and vegetables, and of course wine, directly from the producers.
This list is not exhaustive, of course! We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
