3rd floor Summit condo with Ober Gatlinburg views

**THE INDOOR POOL AND SPAS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR REPAIRS. WE WILL UPDATE AS SOON AS A REOPEN DATE IS ANNOUNCED.** This Summit of Gatlinburg condo is located 3.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 1.5 miles from Ober Mountain Ski Resort. It is located in Building #6 on the 3rd floor (NO ELEVATOR) with an incredible view of the slopes of Ober Mountain Ski Resort, downtown Gatlinburg and Mt. Leconte from the balcony. The main level includes two bedrooms, one with a King bed with a private bath, one with a Queen bed which has a bath in hallway, jacuzzi tub in bath, full kitchen, cable TV, wood burning fireplace. The loft has a Queen bed. There is also a Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room which is great for kids. The Summit condo complex has an indoor pool (heated) for winter time use(Closed for Repairs), and an outdoor pool during the summer months. There is also a community laundry on site. The kids will enjoy the outdoor playground. THIS CONDO DOES NOT ALLOW PETS!!If you bring a pet you will be asked to leave with no refund. Smoking is not allowed in the unit. Please smoke outside. If you smoke inside, you will be charged a $200 fee. Winter Weather Warning: The elevation at The Summit condos is nearly the same as the lodge at nearby Ober Mountain Ski Resort. In case of inclement winter weather, 4 wheel drive and/or chains are advised. We recommend checking the weather and webcam at Ober Mountain Ski Resort to determine the weather conditions here. The City of Gatlinburg does an excellent job of keeping the roads open in winter, but in case of heavy snowfall, it may take a day or more to make the roads safe for travel. When staying here in the winter, it is advised that you bring extra supplies just in case.

Best Trip Ever
this place is the best if you want the most beautiful view in the entire world. it was an amazing place to stay. they had everything you could need in there. not to mention your on top of a freaking mountain. it exceeded all of my expectations and more, 11 out of 10 stars. definitely will be coming back.

clean but not what was expected
Could tell the cleaning service is the only ones to enter the condo. examples.. - 3 TVs, 4 remotes ALL in one spot, 2 did nothing, 1 no batteries. - no remote for mast bdrm tv so had to leave DVD in TV when we checked out - blinds on single glass balcony door was missing, blinds for sliding glass doors to balcony was missing >50% of slats =overall we felt VERY exposed. - only 1 key was left for check-in, that key accidently locked in condo, the only emerg # given was on paperwork IN the locked condo, had to drive down to the office to get emerg # (lady who came to the rescue was very nice, on Thanksgiving eve) - had we drove 2 cars we still would have had only ONE key - the floors creak everywhere and bcuz we arrived @ 2am the ppl below was banging on their ceiling - DO NOT USE THE WRITTEN DIRECTIONS GIVEN, especially after dark. Just plug address into GPS!! side note - I emailed the office with issues above and received NO reply - not even a sorry for the lost DVD

Outdated/disappointing
Has 2 patio doors, neither of them would lock. It was definitely not safe for my 2 grandchildren. Most of the electric outlets did not work. Very outdated, it had some blinds, some half broken ones and some windows had nothing on them. Very small kitchen. The upstairs loft bed was about to fall apart and the spiral stairs definitely need some work. There was an opened Monster energy drink left in the master bedroom. The only thing we loved about this unit was the views were stunning. Only 1 key for this unit. We will not ever rent this unit again. Very disappointed for the price we had to pay.

Beautiful Condo, Great View
We have stayed at The Summit many times over the past several years, and this is by far our favorite unit. It's a corner unit, so there are two separate balconies overlooking Ober Gatlinburg, and the condo itself is well decorated. Had zero issues with wifi. Owners were extremely courteous and responsive, as well. We'll definitely be back.
