Just show up - home fully equipped!
For us - my partner and I, 3 school-aged children and my retired parents, the large, functional space really felt like a home away from home. We comfortably occupied the large main living room/kitchen area for meals and games or for the quieter nights where the kids were in a smaller living area tucked away with Netflix and early bedtime, the grown ups could be up in the main area without disturbing sleeping kids.
The kitchen had plenty of plastic and ceramic dishes/cups, keurig, pans, etc. Bathroom were even stocked with bath towels, shampoo and body wash. Plenty of beach gear to choose from and with the pool mere steps from the lanai, we were all set after a grocery store trip. Even our 12 year old loved the pool and found ways to really enjoy it even if it was on a few strokes to cross it.
LOTS of food and play options nearby. We especially loved the Royal Scoop ice cream joint, just block away and walking distance.
Great communication with the owner and everything was as stated. The rental was priced right for the season - it’s not a brand new place, but it has everything you need to spread out with a large family!
We would absolutely return and rent again. Our only gripe was that we should have flown into fort Myers, not Ft. Lauderdale!
