Welcome to Bear Loop Chalet, a custom built log home located in the prestigious Bear Loop neighborhood. Upon entry you will notice the well cared for home offers a cozy rustic setting with high end furnishings. You can enjoy views of Sugarloaf Mountain and Baker Pond from the floor to ceiling picture windows in the family room area.
The cozy family room offers ample seating on plush leather sofas. Enjoy a fire in the Gas log Fireplace, watch your favorite movie or show on the large Flatscreen TV. Step out to the front upper deck and enjoy the views, in the evening fire up the fire pit or enjoy unobstructed views of the night sky, Big Bear is one of few places in Southern California that you can view the stars without light pollution.
The dining area offers a large table with seating for six with additional seating outside on the covered porch. The kitchen offers high end stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances including a gas range/oven, microwave and wine fridge located in the kitchen island, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen is also equipped with various appliances and kitchenware including coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, blender, food processor, roasting rack, crock pot, and more.
Head down the hall where you will find the pantry to the right, a three quarter bath offering a walk in shower and two bedrooms both offering Queen beds and ample closet space. Head upstairs where you will find the loft area providing a sleeper sofa and a cozy seating area where you can relax and read a book or enjoy the views from the large picture windows in the family room. At the end of the hall is the homes Master Suite, offering a King bed, ample closet space and a large bathroom with walk in shower and jetted bath tub. You also have deck access from the master.
Back downstairs and on the lower level you will find the homes lounge and game room area. This room is full of entertainment with a pool table, shuffleboard table, foosball and gaming consoles. There is a large Flatscreen TV and a three quarter bath with walk in shower. There is a Twin daybed with Twin trundle provided. You can step out back from the game room and enjoy the landscaped rear yard, with outdoor seating and a propane barbecue, this is the perfect spot for grilling. The garage area offers a ping pong table and just off the game room is a full size stackable washer and dryer.

Home Accessibility: This home has a driveway with an upward slope. There are seventeen steps to the front entrance. Once inside there are twelve steps to get to the lower level and an additional three to get into the game room. There is a three quarter bath located on the entry level and lower level and a full bath on the top level in the master.
Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. Our property's quiet hours are in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. We care a lot about maintaining good relationships with our community, so we appreciate you following our "house rules" during your stay. Disturbing the peace is a County Ordinance Violation. Please keep noises to a minimum between the hours of 9pm and 9am. Being on the deck using the BBQ after 10:00 PM can result in a fine. Failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion from the property by the County of San Bernardino Officers with no refund and additional fines from the County of San Bernardino if they receive a noise complaint.
There is a very strict limit of 3 cars maximum at this home. Neighbors will call code enforcement and you risk fines or being towed if there are more than 3 cars. Guests must park in the driveway of the Bear Loop Chalet property only. ABSOLUTELY NO STREET PARKING. Guests take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for following the 5 car maximum parking at this property. You cannot hide additional vehicles at this property!

Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
Please dispose off your trash in the green dumpster located in Destination Big Bear's parking lot, near the east entrance.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.
