Driftwood Lake House - Cozy quiet cove!

Lake life awaits you at this cozy lake side cottage. Whether you are paddle boarding on the calm waters of the cove, or sitting by the fire pit with your toes in the sand and a cocktail in your hand, it's hard not to feel relaxed at Driftwood Lake House. This is our newest home, but we also have a 5-star rated property across the cove called Red Sky Lake House. Please read the reviews for more information on how we run our vacation rentals for our beloved guests.

This cottage has 3 bedrooms, with an extra large master suite and a fireplace to cozy up to on those cool nights. The master bath has a large jacuzzi tub with a fun musical shower that comes complete with speakers and CD player to play some old tunes. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a queen bed, living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. On the second floor is a game room with ping pong table and pull-out sofa for extra sleeping, master bedroom/bathroom and another guest room with twin beds. All bedding is included as well as bath and beach towels. The cottage has a balcony off the master suite as well as a large porch/balcony off the downstairs living room. We have put in a new seawall walk-way as well as a sandy beach to enjoy time in a hammock or around a campfire, lake side.

This cottage comes complete with coffee maker, a Keurig, board games for the family and ping pong table, fire pit and charcoal bar-b-q grill. We have a 23ft. pontoon boat for rent as well as a new splash mat, two large kayaks and two paddle boards. Please inquire about pricing and availability.

There are some fun lakeside restaurants near by with bands on the weekends for entertainment and even an old fashioned drive-in movie theater. Badin lake is a clean and refreshing, fresh water lake with a vast area of the Uwharrie National Forest surrounding the lake for hiking, biking or Jeeping. The scenery is beautiful with lots of lake to explore by boat, paddle board, kayak or jet ski. Our dock is available for those guests who wish to bring their own boats and the neighborhood boat ramp is very close to the cottage. We also have a long driveway that will fit a truck and boat trailer.

We are located one hour from Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and 1.5 hours from Raleigh-Durham. Closest airports are Charlotte Douglas International and Concord or Greensboro airport with Allegiant Air. We also welcome all Pfeiffer families, as we are only 20 minutes from campus.
