Kapa'a has a small town feel and the resort is within walking distance of restaurants, boutiques, shopping and grocery stores. And if you’re there on the first Saturday of the month, Kapa'a features live music, local crafts and food. You can rent bicycles right next door to the Pono Kai and located within 5 minutes from all water activities; canoeing, kayaking, surfing, etc...
