Lakeview is home to Wrigleyville, Wrigley field home of the Chicago Cubs and Belmont theatre district which has over 30 theatres and live performance venues near the “L” station. Very trendy and lively neighborhood yet the apartment is located on a relaxing and quiet steet.
Fun fact: In 2013, Money Magazine named Lakeview as number 3 of its top 10 Big-city neighborhoods for its selection of Best Places to Live.
Guest access
-During your stay at our apartment you will have full and private access to the entire apartment located in the ground unit (Apt GN). You will not have access to other common areas of the apartment building.
-**Do not knock on any of our neighbors’ doors. Our door has a brown screen door and the door to get inside the apartment is white. Do not try to access any other doors in the building.
-There is free street parking on Hermitage Ave on a first come first serve basis. Please be sure to read all the street signs, tow zones, before parking to avoid tickets and tows.
Other things to note
House Rules:
We strive to make your stay with us as great as possible and in order to ensure that we exceed your expectations we have some rules that will make sure your visit goes smoothly.
-Please do not use our towels to remove makeup or anything else that will stain them. If our towels are permanently stained we will charge a fee to replace them.
-Take care of our space and the items within it. When you arrive, we ask that you REMOVE YOUR SHOES before entering the apartment to avoid damaging the floors, rugs or carpet. We will charge you a $150 fee for professional cleaning if we notice any damage is done to the rugs. During your stay treat our home as if it’s your own, do not damage anything within the unit. Do not leave food out without proper containment because it will attract insects. If any damage has been done to anything in the apartment we will charge a minimum $300 fee to replace/fix what has been broken. Prior to your departure, do your best to tidy up by throwing garbage in the waste bin, washing any kitchenware (cups, plates, pots, pans, silverware) that you used, placing towels in the hamper, and leave the room in overall good shape to make the cleaning process more efficient. If an excessive mess is left after your stay which requires us to spend extra time cleaning it we will have to charge an additional cleaning fee ($50/hour or more).
-Keep track of your keys please. Losing the keys that you will be provided could cause a host of issues and potentially put a damper on your trip. Please do your best to know where they are at all times. If keys are lost or not returned to the lockbox we will unfortunately have to charge a $300 dollar fee to cover the cost of changing locks and having new keys made.
-No partying. We have strict rules against partying in our apartment and having guests that are unaccounted for when making the reservation. We do not accept reservations for people intending to host bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday parties, or any other kind of party. If there is any evidence of smoking in or around the apartment, illicit drug use, excessively loud noise after 10 PM, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation immediately without refund. We have a very good relationship with our neighbors and intend to keep it that way which means noise levels must be controlled so they are not disturbed. They will notify me if there is any evidence of these activities occurring during your stay. If we find any evidence of smoking in the apartment we will assess a minimum $300 fee to restore the apartment to its previously smoke-free condition.
-No pets allowed. A fee will be assessed if any pets are allowed
