Myrtle Beach 2022
This was our first time staying on the South end and we were not disappointed. The property is an older building. When you step in the room you could tell the owner has taken pride in making it a comfortable beach retreat. The bed was very comfortable, and a cute beach vibe with all the decorations. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, and cold soda and water in the fridge. So many extras were provided even ones that I didn’t know I had forgotten so that was a huge plus. The owner was very accommodating and even offered to do a store run before our arrival for specific needs. When a problem came up, she responded within a matter of minutes and offered a solution. It was also a nice touch to receive a message mid trip just asking if we needed anything. Access to the beach was very easy, and beautiful view from the living room, and balcony

The view from the balcony is priceless!!!!
Nice and neat. Great communication with the owner. The place has two rooms separated by the kitchen and the doors are pretty soundproof. Our Papa snores, and we were watching TV pretty loud - no disturbance at all. The shower works perfectly fine. All the towels and stuff is provided. Bottom line: definitely a good place on the beach. Worth staying over again and again. And the real gem is the balcony: you open the doors and the Atlantic ocean is all the way to the horizon! Wow

Do Your Research!
Let me preface this with the fact that this VRBO was my first VRBO because I usually get hotel rooms. With that said, I searched for rentals that had great decor, looked clean, and was in a good area. When I found this rental I thought I hit the jackpot because the interior photos were awesome. I messaged the owner to ask how close the rental was to Compass Cove because I was visiting for an event there. She responded that the rental was next door to the compass cove. So I booked almost immediately. Upon arrival, I was confused because the GPS took us to a driveway between Compass Cove Resort and Sandcastle hotel. I thought, “maybe she sent the wrong address, because I asked about compass cove”. Turns out, NO! The rental is a VRBO within the Sandcastle hotel. Had the rental owner said that when I asked, I NEVER would have booked here. Where do I start. The parking deck is sketchy and aggravating! 1 way in and the same way out! The hotel rooms have doors that lead straight to outdoors (I HATE THAT), and the carpet leading to the room is filthy. Walking into the room, the hotel looks exactly as pictured for the most part. The furniture is new, and the decor is pretty. HOWEVER, you can wash a dirty shoe and it’s still not going to look like it did when you bought it. KITCHEN: the owners had water/coke/coffee and a complimentary bottle of wine which was so sweet. But as soon as I turned the light on to look around, I peeped a bug crawling between the stove and the counter. I thought it was a roach but I wasn’t sure, I just knew to keep my belongings closed. (That is a uneasy feeling) BATHROOM: As a pro, the shower pressure and temperature was great but I went and bought shower shoes because the bathtub needed to be pulled and replaced as the paint in the tub was cracked and filthy looking. The paint on the walls is was also cracked. One of my showers was interrupted by a roach entering so my suspicions were confirmed! BEDROOM: bed slept good. The wall socket to the HVAC was uncovered and was an eye sore. I found yet another roach on the nightstand so I was good and ready to go. I turned the TV off only to be rudely awaken by someone banging on a door next to mine, aggressively telling the tenet to “open up so I can beat your ass. My husband and I were beyond over this rental at this point. Getting packed to leave we saw 3 more roaches so I was beyond irritated. Highly disappointed.

Great amenities and perfect location!
This condo was perfect for our weekend stay, close to many attractions, restaurants and what a beautiful view from our balcony! The condo was clean and fully equipped with amenities and toiletries, which we did not expect! We were able to park right outside of our unit and walk right down to the beach…already planning another trip back!!

Taking in the varied cultures, sights and food! The experience of being a vacation host and meeting so many lovely people along the way is really something I particularly enjoy, my main aim is to create a comfortable, relaxing and “home away from home” experience for guests.

Myrtle Beach's has wonderfully warm temperatures and enough sunshine to keep everyone playing outside, but don't forget to leave the sand to visit one of our great waterparks, or visit one of the area's many amusement parks, or check out some of the area's most popular watersports, from jet skiing, parasailing, or thrilling banana boat rides.

Myrtle Beach has 2 state parks and plenty of other outdoor attractions, Fishing is another favorite be it from a pier or a charter fishing boat.

Golfers will delight in close to 100 championship golf courses, don't forget our 50 miniature golf courses which are fun for the whole family.
