This small apartment is a good value for those traveling with a dog. It's clean and cozy, and I felt secure inside it. The host was very responsive and helpful.
The parking is behind an electric gate, and the gated parking lot serves as a safe pet relief area after dark. (There's no "yard," but there is a park a few blocks away.) The parking is shared with several other apartments on the block, so the space for pets to relieve themselves is small, and the parking is tight -- but it was fine for my dog, and there are trash cans conveniently placed to deposit poop bags.
It's worth knowing that this used to be some sort of store -- from the street, it looks like a store front. It seems like it's a commercial building that's been turned into a series of attached, small apartments or condos. The unit is is definitely better inside than outside!
My tip for dog owners is TAKE A SMALL FLASHLIGHT (because there is no lighting in the parking lot after dark when you're taking a dog out to potty before bedtime). Also, bring your own hairdryer, if you need one, as there isn't one in this unit.
With those notes, I wouldn't hesitate stay here again with my dog again in a future visit to ABQ!
