Meh - won't stay again
First the pros: Justin was super responsive to communications and the location is amazing. Right on the waterway, with restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Front desk were super friendly and helpful. Pool was great and had plenty of chairs available. Patio is large and a nice option to have rather than being in the room. Hotel is undergoing some upgrades/renovations, but nothing that interfered with our stay. Now the cons: the burnt out bulb in the kitchen that was mentioned in a February 2024 review, was still burnt out when we visited in April 2024. A single bulb sounds like no big issue, but when there's only 2 bulbs in the kitchen and half don't work... well.... Dining furniture is in need of some repair. There was no extra bedding in the closet where the welcome letter indicated there would be some. The safe doesn't work - the batteries are corroded inside the compartment. The USB ports in the lamp don't work, so bring a USB cube for the outlets. So - overall - we loved the location. The room was fine for a single night's stay when you're dining out, but I would have been very disappointed if we stayed here for multiple nights. I sent Justin a message to let him know about the maintenance issues that need to be addressed in this unit. Hopefully they get fixed for future guests. As for us, we will not be future guests.

Great location, but building is not well maintained.
The host was responsive and helpful, so no complaint there but the property itself was not well kept. It was dirty and smelled of mildew in the entire building. There was actually a big mold spot in the carpet right across from our door. This was the same on other floors where members of my extended family stayed. Also, the under sink trash was not emptied before our arrival and contained someone else's garbage. Further the shower handle was covered in dried soap and someone's hair...so made me question cleanliness of other areas. The location was great though, but will likely not return.

Too many issues to stay again
Despite booking months in advance I didn’t receive property details 3 days in advance as specified. I had to request it the day we were scheduled to arrive. (My fault, I should have reached out sooner, but life was busy preparing for our cruise) Once we arrived at the airport, I realized I didn’t have the info & I reached out to Justin via text. He was quick to reply with the info. We arrived to the property that evening and they had no record of our reservation. It had already been an extremely long travel day with our littles and it took about 30 minutes to get into the room. We again had to text Justin, thankfully he was quick to reply and call the desk to get it sorted out. The desk staff wasn’t friendly or communicative, they let me know they were sold out. We just stood there as they continued to help other guests, even after they had spoken with Justin. Once in the room, it was fine, we were just thankful to finally be there. There are mold spots on the ceiling and our bare feet were black from the floor. It needs a good cleaning. We woke up after our one night stay with congestion and headaches. The location is good, we ate at a pizza place within walking distance and it’s close to a Starbucks. Unfortunately we won’t be staying at this unit again. Too many issues.

Disappointed
First, let me say that we do not need 5-star accommodations when we travel. We are very easy-going and basically want a clean place with a comfy bed. Very simple. This was a disappointing stay . The property is very “lived in” . The shower was not exactly great and was a bit dirty and gross . There were a bunch of little things that are neglected too. Only two little track lights in the kitchen, one of which was burnt out. There were bottles of shampoo , conditioner and shower gel in the shower which was a nice gesture….except the shower gel was bone dry and had been empty for quite some time. Also, bags of half eaten food and hotel cookies left in the cupboard , has us questioning how well it is cleaned? And there was one roll of toilet paper ….not any extra at all. But the most frustrating thing was that on our day of check in, the host was unresponsive. When we finally got an email response from him, the email said that checkin was at 3…..but he didn’t send the email until almost 4….and we had been waiting ! Then we go to the desk to actually check in and they tell us , that no check in isn’t at 3, it’s at 4. As I said…we don’t need a lot. But basic cleanliness and a responsive just are important when we travel. I read a lot of reviews before purchase or book things , so I appreciate honest reviews and I felt a need to post one.
