This newly renovated is a 1BR/1BA fully detached guesthouse with a private entrance in our fenced backyard. The property is centrally located in Historic East Nashville, and we are 6 blocks from Five Points (10-min walk) and 2 miles from the center of downtown Nashville. We are right around the corner (literally one block) from the award-winning Lockeland Table Community Kitchen & Bar and the Urban Cowboy Public House. The 361-acre Shelby Park Nature Reserve and Greenway is 1/2 mile away.

We are 2 miles (10-min drive or Uber/Lyft) from the Broadway scene and Bridgestone Arena, and we are a 1.5 mile walk from Nissan Stadium

Inside the guesthouse you will find a cozy, functional, bright and serene space perfect for resting and relaxing after exploring all that the Music City has to offer. The living area is decorated with beautiful, contemporary and comfortable decor. The small kitchen is well equipped for cooking with a stove, mini-fridge, microwave and a full complement of cooking equipment, dishes and even a mini, wheeled kitchen island w/ a cutting board for food preparation. We also provide a Keurig Coffee machine that is fully stocked with individual coffee pods and creamer. We also provide a pour over coffee set, and local single origin coffee from Nashville coffeehouse favorite, Barista parlor! have a Roku TCL Smart HDTV with all available streaming services and Bluetooth speakers for streaming music or podcasts from a smartphone or tablet. The entire space is equipped with 2GB Fiber Wi-Fi service. The upstairs space includes a bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, a full-size dresser for clothing storage and two end tables with lamps and drawers. There is a full bathroom which includes a full-size tub-shower combo with subway tile surround and curved shower curtain rod for extra space. The downstairs living area has a great sofa/daybed that pulls out into a full single bed. We have a full set of sheets & comforter for the sofa bed in the bathroom closet.

The Lockeland Springs neighborhood derives its name in part from Lockeland Mansion, and in part from the natural mineral spring on its grounds which, at the 1901 Louisiana Purchase Exhibition, won the grand prize for its “salubrious quality”. The City of Nashville purchased the mansion in 1939 and replaced it with Lockeland School, which still educates students today.
The neighborhood remains deeply connected to its roots with a historic overlay protecting homes ranging from Queen Anne and Eastlake styles to Classical Revival, Bungalow, and English Cottage preservations. Spend some time in Lockeland Springs, and you might believe in a little spring water magic. Wide, tree-lined streets; generous greenspaces; friendly neighbors; and a robust local business scene attract a diverse set of residents with a common desire for a self-defined, independent oasis.
